Great Spot
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Marblehead! The house is walking distance to the beach and a short drive from Salem. The house is comfortable and clean, exactly as described. Great place for a group or a family! Would stay again.

Great proximity to Salem in October
My 2 sisters, mom and myself enjoyed our stay! The home was very comfortable and relaxing. We had a nice lunch in Marblehead upon arriving and enjoyed the close proximity to Salem which was what brought us to the area! It was nice to escape the crowds and unwind at the home in the evenings after busy days.

Great home for a family vacagion you are close to ocean Salem and 20 miles from boston you have a little bit of everything wrapped up in this hoise. We took the dogs and the walking trails behind the house were great for the dog!! Highly recommend this house. Communication with owner was great and she responded very quickly!!!

We had such a nice stay at Hollyhock House. The home was so comfortable and nicely decorated. A perfect New England house. Great location with the woods and pond just steps out the door. An easy walk into Old Town, Redd’s Pond, Grace Oliver Beach, Fort Sewall and Fort Beach. We loved the location! The house was clean and the layout was perfect for our family of 6. Our teenager loved having the upstairs room to herself. The beds and linens were very comfortable. We would definitely return and stay at Hollyhock House again. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hollyhock House. The house is exactly what you see in the photos. The beds are super comfortable and the space was perfect for our needs. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Very disappointed
Planned our 3 night visit around the pool. Got there and the pool was 100% unusable. Had not been cleaned and smelled with thick algae. Called immediately and was assured that the pool would be cleaned in the morning so we stayed. Left the house for the day and came back expecting to be able to relax by the pool.... That was far from true nothing was cleaned and was still 100% unusable. We checked out the next morning and asked to have our money refunded but was told they would only give us 1 night which we didn't stay back. TOTALLY dissatisfied. Ruined our 3 days....

Family spring break to east coast was fantastic
Our family decided to head east for spring break and tour the Hocus Pocus movie locations and historic Boston. This house was perfect for our family of 7. Great location, very safe, very clean and high quality. We were able to see and do everything we wanted within a short driving distance and have a nice place to come home to. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay!
We loved this property!! The location was in a dead end area, next to a wooded trail and duck pond. Our kids loved walking and exploring and even discovered a tree swing. Town was a short drive with a bunch of great restaurants and shops. Probably walkable if you didn’t have kids and strollers. We had an issue with our heat and the property manager/owner sent someone over right away. Even offered us to move to a back up property if it couldn’t be fixed. Luckily it was so we didn’t have to pack everything up. Beds were comfortable and there were enough towels for all guests. We had to stock up on trash bags, laundry detergent and paper products (towels, napkins and toilet paper) as we were left with the bare minimum. So come prepared. Our only complaints would be the couch in the den was very dated and uncomfortable. And the other would be with all the pillow options in the home it was hard to find one that was comfortable. And it’s too bad they didn’t have a king size bed in the primary. Definitely had room for it. However, we will definitely be back as we have family in the area and this was by far our favorite rental find.
