This stunning 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment is brand spanking new - along with all of the furnishings. It includes one queen & one full size ensuite bedrooms. The unit is extremely clean and very nicely decorated. Only a 5 minute walk to Ashmont station (red line), which will take you directly to downtown Boston, Harvard Square, South Boston, Kendall/MIT, U Mass. There are two great restaurants nearby - Via Cannuccia and Tavolo Ristorante, as well as a local coffee shop + a Dunkin just across the T station.

The Space

The historical property was built in 1894. It is located in Ashmont Hill, which is an area within Boston's Dorchester neighborhood that is known for their beautiful victorian homes, and its diverse and eclectic neighborhood.

The house is located only about a five minute walk from Ashmont T station, which is the first or last station on the red line. Extremely convenient.

The Ashmont Apartment is Unit 1 (First Floor) of our two family home to which we have converted the entire property into a unique Guest House and Outdoor Living Space that is open year round, with the exception of The Office - which is closed during the winter months. The Ashmont Suite or Unit 2 is in the second and third Floor, while @ The Boiler Room is located in the garden level.

Guest Access

The Ashmont apartment is a 2 bedroom / 2 bath apartment. One bedroom (The Map Room) has a queen size bed and its own ensuite bathroom. While the other room (The Elephant Room), comes with a full size bed and its own ensuite bathroom as well. The apartment includes an open living room and kitchen. Everything is brand new, modern with very comfortable beds and always new and crisp bedding/linens.

Very nice and clean flat in a lovely renovated victorian house. Interior and exterior exactly as described in VRBO. Easy checkin and - out procedure. Very friendly and uncomplicated host. Tube-station not far. Streetparking without problems possible. For next trip to Boston everytime again!!!

This was a lovely apartment with great amenities and well equipped kitchen. It was sparkling clean with comfortable beds. Just an FYI, it was farther from downtown than I expected; a 20-25 Uber/Lyft or 25-30 minute train ride, and there is not much within walking distance. Knowing that, it was a nice apartment with good outdoor patio

Great Location

I needed a one night stay before starting a tour throughout New England. This location was easy to get to from the trains, the apartment was wonderfully kept and easy to stay in. If youā€™re in the area, I would consider this location.

College tour trip

My twins and I stayed here to visit four colleges in Boston. It was a great place to stay. There is a beautiful outdoor space that I used in the morning to drink my coffee. The place was spotless and the owners communicated very well.

Great Stay

Hosts are very responsive & accommodating! Our group had a couple concerns regarding our luggage & the hosts made sure we had everything figured out. The property is very beautifully maintained & is within a 10 minute walk of the subway. If public transport isnā€™t for you, there are plenty of Uber/Lyfts in the area. I would stay here again when visiting Boston!

Enjoyed staying there. Was centrally located for what we needed. Clean rooms, great water pressure, TV if we needed to watch, fridge, dishes, if it wasnā€™t so rainy we probably wouldā€™ve have gone into the back yard area! Iā€™d stay there again.

Loved this place

We couldnā€™t have asked for a better place to stay while visiting family over the Christmas holidays. To come ā€œhomeā€ to this light-filled, cozy, beautifully decorated space was a million times better than staying in a hotel. The beds were comfortable, and the location was perfect.
