Located on a private quiet side street.. Renovated LARGE beautiful 3 bedroom/2 bath modern apartment - ALL BEDS NEW! NEW bed SIZES! TWO living room areas for your comfort. Two of the bedrooms are located on the main level as well as laundry full bath, kitchen and living room area. Both bedrooms on main floor offer queen sized mattresses. 3rd Bedroom is located on lower level with a NEW KING MATTRESS for your comfort. Second living room area with plenty of seating area and flat screen tv. Wide pine floors, upgraded shaker style cabinets Granite counter-tops, SS appliances. Large open concert living. Sleeps 6 people VERY comfortably. Off street parking for one vehicle. Central AC . Outside seating area for your enjoyment. Short walking distance to commuter train to Boston. Walk downtown to restaurants and to beach, Close proximity to historic district. Fully furnished, heat, hot water, electric, cable, wifi all included. Pots/pans utensils, linens , towels all as well. Washer/dryer as well.

Great place to stay. Walking distance to several historical sites of Salem, restaurants and shops. Take the time to take in a Sail on the Fame of Salem (daytime and sunset sails of Salem Sound) Location allows short drive trips to other locations to explore. House was clean and quiet. Would stay there again.

perfect location

Perfect location for a visit to Salem. Within walking distance of everything, and right next to Salem Maritime Nat’l Historic Park. View of the water from the backyard.

Family Trip to Salem

Great location. Great property for our family of five including two toddlers. Most of the best sights in Salem were easily walkable from this location. A lot of food options around too.

This house was perfect for the three of us. Easy walk to everything. Enough room inside to have our own space. Coffee shop across the street. I would recommend a stay here

It was a great time and the beds were all comfortable. Only downside was the limited amount of lamps in the bedrooms and living rooms.

Meet up with new friends in Salem

It was perfect for us and so convenient to a delightful coffee shop and restaurants. Rarely used the car since so much was withing walking distance, especially the old section of Salem. Great vacation.

Fantastic Location In A Fun Town

The property was well appointed and the location was perfect. Restaurants just across the street and historic sites in walking distance were fun & convenient. It was also a great home base for day trips to Boston.

Great Location

We had a short stay in Salem, and this property was the perfect location for us. There were two couples in our group, and the house was perfect for us. It was short walking distance to everything in Salem.

Salem townhouse

Property was exactly as described. Very convenient to attractions and restaurants. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for something other than a chain motel. Having access to a washer and dryer was great!

Great girls weekend!

Such a great girls trip house! Walking distance to almost all the local attractions. Also short walk to the ferry back to Boston. Two of the beds were great, one in the front bedroom was a little old and dips but not terrible. House qas very clean, two living rooms, super close to a coffe shop and great sunrise spot. Would likely stay here again if we ever come back!!

Great location but…

We were so excited to stay here. The house is cute. The location is great. However… the air conditioning was not working which made for a miserable sleeping experience. The host suggested we open windows, but we did not feel comfortable with this as it is on the 1st floor. I wish there had been some other compromise or solution available to us (or at least some oscillating fans!). Thank goodness we only stayed one night.

Relaxing in Salem for Birthday Getaway

Our third stay at 14 Hodges. We were so pleased with the upgrades. The new beds/bedding were amazing and the new thermostat was user friendly. We managed to cook quite a bit while also eating out at our favorite vegan spots in Salem and Beverly. We headed to Boston via train for the Titanic exhibit and headed to Portland Maine and the lit up for the Holidays Nubble Light House. It was great to visit the PEM once again for some great exhibits and all the local stores. It was great to be "home."

Perfect house for our needs. 6 adults and we enjoyed the roominess of the house. The great location close to our venue and Derby Street is the perfect location to tour the town on foot yet be away from the heavy tourist traffic of the core witch areas. Coffee, restaurants, wine and ice cream within a block! Thank you for providing this home away experience!

Perfect rental for 3 couples

The property was perfect! The layout and beds were perfect for our group of 6 (3) couples. Very convenient for walking to all attractions in Salem. The unit was very clean and beds were comfy. Off street parking for 2 regular size vehicles, the view is awesome close to the water. Jennifer responded promptly to all communication. Will definitely book this again when we are in the area!

The house is great; comfortable, charming, and perfectly located within walking distance of everything you want to see in Salem. The property management team is attentive and friendly. 100% would rent this spot again. (The downstairs shower has amazing water pressure. 🛀)

Location is 🔥

Salem is such a walkable town and this townhouse was in the perfect location! We walked around town, around the wharf, and even to the train station where we hopped on board and spent a day in Boston. Close to dining, shopping, site-seeing, etc. Our family of 5 had plenty of room to spread out and the extra living area was a bonus. Only suggestion would be to add a few more coffee mugs and basic utensils such as spatulas and maybe an ice cream scoop.

Amazing stay in a great location

We enjoyed our stay very much. This home was in the ideal location for all of the areas we wanted to visit. 30 minute drive to all of our destinations. We were able to walk to ALL in Salem. Off street parking was much appreciated. The house was extremely clean. Plenty of space for our family of 4. I loved the privacy of the lower level area, complete with separate bathroom and walk in closet! Stocked with lots of towels, toiletry items and kitchen supplies. Beautiful view across the street. Thank you for a great visit!

Great location and accommodations

If you plan to spend most of your time in Salem, this is an amazing place to stay! After arriving, we didn't use our car for the first 3 days because we were so close to downtown. The only issue we had was with some inconsiderate "neighbors" in the unit above us who enjoyed yelling and slamming doors while using our shared entrance late at night. If you are a light sleeper I don't suggest staying in the bedroom downstairs for this reason. On the positive side, the neighborhood is very quiet and so were the second group of people who stayed upstairs. I would definitely stay here again.
