"Very strange apartment layout. No heating and it got very cold at night. There are only blankets to warm up. Was very difficult to check in. No clear instructions. When we arrived, we needed to jump hoops to finally find very nice lady who didn’t speak English to finally shows us our apartment and give us a key. The check in process was stressful. "The apt is no longer a short term rental, and it was very difficult for us to even locate it. When we finally did locate the owner, after a couple hours of asking around, he was gracious and provided us with similar housing through a friend, free of charge for us. However, the advertised house is no longer being rented out through VRBO."

"If I had to stay in Chefchaouen again, I would choose this place. It is easily walkable distance to everything without it being loud. The room was clean and the staff very attentive. The breakfast served here was the best we had in Morocco so far. Although it is not in a loud area of the Medina, I do still recommend ear plugs as there are many mosques in Chefchaouen. This isn't an issue that is special to this Riad, but just in general. I definitely recommend staying here for your stay in Chefchaouen."
