"This was a hidden place definitely off the beaten track. We felt relaxed finally finding the place and even got an upgrade for the Lake View. Was able to utilize the meditation room, game room/pool table/library. Our room had a special tub with jets and a steam shower. This was in the calm room. Very satisfied!"

"This lovely home is located in the perfect area in Julian/lake Cuyamaca! Its a two story home with a nice size kitchen and absolutely gorgeous views!!!! The host John is absolutely fantastic! We were able to use the hot tub and kitchen to the fullest potential. The shower heads are not exactly what they could be. However that's my ONLY critique. Maybe bring your own shower head? A/C works great! Record player works!! It was fun to use.. we even used the telescope to take a look at the stars. Absolutely will be coming back!!!"

"Ok. Pictures do not lie. This is everything you think it will be. The views, the relaxing oasis environment so amazing. Sitting in the outside birdcage listening to the wind through the trees and the babbling brook below just awesome. I have not felt so at peace and relaxed for years."

"This place is perfect if you are visiting from out of town for any events! We attended the local Sweat Ceremony held by Southern Indian Health Council only 8 minutes away from the motel. Very small town but has everything you need. The check in process was very simple, and the attendant was sure to assist us with all of our needs. The room was very cozy and had a well working AC and the window scenery was perfect as well! I read some of the past reviews and I am not sure what some of the people are referring to as "creepy". It IS a small rural town and not the big city! I will definitely be staying here again when we come for the future sweat ceremonies! PS Cowboy coffee is ALSO only 8 minutes away and opens up at 6:30am and the coffee and service there is super delightful!"
