"Excellent location with stellar lake views! Clean and comfy. The only negative was the water. Would have been nice to know before arrival that it’s well water with a strong mineral smell and taste. We ended up going to nearby Dollar General to get bottled water for drinking and brushing teeth. Also surprised by lack of some basics like shampoo, shower gel, and kitchen towels (although roll of paper towels was provided). And finally, we loved the new deck on back of house but a screen door on the door to it would have been nice to get more fresh air into the house."

You can tell the Colin put a lot of care into making the space welcoming and enjoyable for their guests. We had everything we needed and truly enjoyed our weekend. "This is truly a special place. The photos simply do not capture how beautiful the home, setting, and views are in person. The location is perfect—close to everything, yet peaceful and relaxing.This was our second stay, and we can confidently say we would not stay anywhere else in the Finger Lakes. It feels like our home away from home, and our dogs absolutely love it.For a weekend escape or a longer getaway, this is the place. Exceptional in every way."

"This is a rare rental property right on Seneca Lake. 6 adults, a toddler and a dog all fit with room to spare. Close to Watkins Glen, Geneva, wineries, breweries and restaurants. It was a great family weekend!"

"The house was great! It felt really clean aside from a few lake spiders or bugs (to be expected). It was perfect for the 2 of us. The view was incredible even though it rained for the majority of our stay. It was still perfectly relaxing. The owners are really responsive and easy to communicate with. The only real gripe is that I don't think there is enough warning about how physically have to get down to the cottage. You can't see it from the road and it's deep within the cliff. You have to park your car on the top of a hill and make your way down a very steep, long embankment where you come to more steep stairs down to the cottage. This made carrying luggage /groceries down and up extremely difficult and for someone with severe hip issues, it was almost unmanageable. I had to take breaks going up the stairs and hill. I knew there were stairs down to the lake but I had no idea how hard it would be to just get to the cottage itself (located much above the lake)."

"I loved this home. The layout worked really well Well stocked clean and comfortable. The view from the front porch is amazing. Gorgeous sunsets every day. Location was great. Close to Watkins glen and multiple wineries. We went to a Corning museums on rain days. Just the perfect spot. I loved the finger lakes. The host Bill Was super helpful."
