"Fabulous week in the Dordogne based at this property - very rural and quiet but lots of lovely towns and Chateau’s and other things to see and do in the region so you will need a hire car to get around. The Gîte is superbly welcoming and comfortable - has everything you need for your stay. Craig and Caroline are fantastic hosts too, full of great advice beforehand when planning your stay and also on hand if needed while there. If I could 6 stars here I would! "

"Lovely cosy farmhouse in a great location. Hot tub was a bonus. Perfect for up to 4 people, but anymore may be a tight fit if weather not good and you were not able to use the outside space. Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Saint Avit Senieur. Would recommend."

"Our two year old son loved the outdoor area: chasing the ducks, watching tia the dog and the horses being cooled down with water. The sandpit (boulles area!) was his favourite and we really appreciated the fenced swimming pool with 2 locks. No need to bring any toys, lots of games were provided. Host is very accommodating to ensure you have everything you need and responded quickly to all communication pre-holiday. "A charming selection of several stone-built gites that are set in a peaceful location yet only a 5 minute drive from a couple of villages and the magnificent Chateau de Biron. Our hosts Tony and Lisa were superb and our gite offered everything we needed. The gites, grounds and gardens were very well maintained as was the fabulous swimming pool. We will definitely be making a return visit."
