"Loved our little place in Grantchester- it was so quaint and had everything we needed. Grantchester is a lovely little village. Parking was available just outside, the unit was clean and it was the perfect size for us. The place is decorated with the host's artwork which is lovely. Our hosts, Tess and her husband, lived next door and were always available (but we had no problems). The location is quiet and an easy drive to Cambridge. "The White Barn is excellent. We are always a little anxious when booking a new place to stay but once we entered The White Barn all concerns disappeared. It is absolutely wonderful. "I hesitate to write negative reviews, but need to make sure the next renters understand the house properly. The House is literally attached to, and behind, the Mermaid Takeaway on Green End Road. Looking at google maps, a new unit has been built to replace the small storage shed shown, and the green space in front of the house is now the back patio of that unit (not your unit).
