The Hotel is in a great location and is about 7 minutes drive from the beach and main attractions. However the hotel is pretty basic and not worth the amount of money they are charging. Check-in was challenging as the room we were allocated already had another guest in it. We also had a key card that was not working. Our room was a good size with a kitchenette ideal for families, however the bathroom & carpet was not clean.

We stayed for a weekend in August. Height of summer so we get it's busy but also really expensive for what you get. The hotel has been refreshed more than most in the area so feels modern throughout except the bathrooms which feel very tired, didn't even bother to give us shower gel and had dents in the door. Very busy arrival but it's really unforgivable to give someone a key to a room where there's already people in it. We walked into an occupied room full of open suitcases, but no guests. Super unsecure and made us nervous for the weekend especially as there was no safe in room. Staff were very apologetic but we also got a smaller room as a result. Bed is comfy and it's not too loud except the internal creaking and slamming doors. All in all, fine!

The staff were lovely and helpful. I was also given a room upgrade. I would’ve liked to have had ice on tap and proper hot coffee/tea that was made in house and served at the bar. The breakfast wasn’t the best I’ve seen, but for the price and quality of the accommodation, it did the trick. The hotel was on a nice tree-lined street, about 5-10 mins walk to the beach and 25 mins walk to the centre. A bit more atmosphere in the hotel would be good, for example with music - it seemed quiet but the hotel car park was full, so ideal for people who like quieter environments.

I accidentally booked the wrong date as a non-refundable booking. The hotel kindly amended the booking to accommodate our children as we had no childcare this weekend. The kids had a great time!
