"Room was small but clean. There was space to put a suitcase by the bed but no room for a chair in the room. In our room (412) the wash basin was actually in the shower cubicle which was strange but OK apart from getting wet feet if someone had recently had a shower. Small details like tea and coffee were provided (and paper cups) but nothing to stir with. The WiFi code was not provided in the room so I went down to reception to ask whether there was wifi and the information was on the wall at reception but the receptionist hadn't mentioned it when we checked in. Parking was close by in an underground car park - getting in was slightly hairy in a biggish car but all was well. It felt fairly basic but it was very well located and our room was quiet, it was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was good so we were satisfied!"

"The management staff was very understanding about my having left with the apartment key still in my pocket. They quickly came up with a solution, which was for me to mail the keyback. I was very concerned about this because by the time I discovered the problem, I was 30 miles away on my bicycle tour and not easily able to return. But they were great."

"Great location for walking around the town. Comfortable room on the third floor. Unfortunately the lift was out of action which ment a treak up and down 50 plus stairs to get in and out of the room."

"Lovely little hotel near the seafront over looking the river. Good sized family suites with comfortable beds. The bar area was really pleasant and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was really fresh too (fresh bread and croissants etc). We would stay again. Excellent location to Calais and the little seafront town was worth a visit."
