"We had a fantastic stay at the Marthildahoeve. A newly built spacious modern home in a traditional farm style. The location is great for families with children. Easy access to great old Dutch cities such as Edam, Volendam, Marken, Hoorn and de Rijp. Perfect base for bike rides. The host has created a great vacation home with many very thoughtful extras."

"We loved our stay in this beautiful chalet. It is easily one of the most picturesque places we've stayed at in the Netherlands. The view from the porch is breathtaking and the villa decor and ambience is cozy and inviting. "No towels included! Does not say that anywhere in VRBO listing. They wanted 25+ Euros for towels. I said no and they said fine dry off with the window curtains. Very poor customer service. Described as a “chalet”, it’s little more than a cheap ikea looking small shipping container. The home pictured is not the one we received. I’ve never had an experience this poor with VRBO. Can’t fit luggage in bedrooms. Shower is high gloss and very slippery. Look elsewhere."
