"Short after arrival I noticed that 3 of 4 houses around me in the Europarc Markermeer were occupied by african refugees. I am not a racist. I lived and worked seven years in West Africa and I KNOW that people and cultures are different. When I pay more than 500 Euros for 3 nights I am not too keen to deal with dirt, staring kids on my terrace, non-respect of discretion and politeness."

"We and our two little girls had a beautiful stay at this lovely ancient house which is nonetheless modern and full of light on the inside. The owner is a lovely lady always offering a helping hand. We felt totally welcomed. Bovenkarpsel and Enkhuizen are really nice and located centrally within the Netherlands allowing a multitude of daytrips in all directions. We can fully recommend renting this house for holidays."

"Ich kann die Unterkunft leider nicht weiterempfehlen. Ich hatte auf den Bildern und aus der Beschreibung nicht registriert, dass der Bungalow direkt an der extrem stark befahrenen Bundestraße N307 liegt. Ich konnte Nachts nur mit Oropax schlafen. Ansonsten war der Bungalow für NL Verhältnisse ordentlich ausgestattet und für einen Kurztrip vollkommen ausreichend. Umgebung und Anlage selber sind auch schön. Bringt aber alles nichts wenn es durchgehend viel zu laut ist. Zwischen N307 und den...

"The hotel is being renovated, so some parts of the building are temporarily unavailable. Other than that, the hotel is wonderful, and the staff is extremely friendly. The town is beautiful and very peaceful. We would definitely stay here again."
