Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.
Lovely Evergreen Cottage on Bowen Island with spectacular water views overlooking Dorman Bay and Howe Sound plus coastal mountain views. Enjoy the huge cedar deck for sunning and bbq's. Please request for pets as we do make exceptions.

The space has a license from the municipality for a maximum of 6 guests at any given time. This maximum includes guests which are only there during the day for a visit. Maximum of one pet upon request.

Weekend getaway
Lovely cottage with easy access from ferry and walking distance to town. We had everything we needed including coffee filters and basics like salt and pepper/paper towel. Unfortunately weather was off the first day and cushions on outdoor furniture got saturated so we couldn’t sit on them the next day. Would suggest storing them inside. Also was surprised with extra charges for cleaning etc not clear at booking so was quite pricey

Great location for a family getaway
The Evergreen cottage was the perfect spot to stay for our family trip to Bowen Island. We spent most of our time on the large deck which has a beautiful view across the water to Vancouver. The location was a short drive from Snug Cove and we also had a very pleasant walk to Snug Cove that took about 25 minutes with small kids.

Stunning views and tranquility
We loved bowen island and this cottage. It was so peaceful and the views from the decking were amazing. Being surrounded by forests the only sounds were of numerous birds n the occasional munching deer. Cottage cosy and welcoming. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great stay!
Great stay, cabin feels like a real escape. Kitchen was great. The views are unbeatable. Only things that would have topped this to perfect would be that the deck gets morning sun not afternoon so we were chilly (but that'd actually be an advantage in the hot summer) and the double bed in the 2nd bedroom was pretty sunken so I didn't have the greatest sleep with my husband in there (would be totally fine for 1 person and that being said the bedding with nice and comfy).

Great location Cabin has a lovely deck and inside living room Comfortable beds It was very dusty, Chris arranged for the cleaners to come and dust during the stay - thank you. However it needs a proper clean - cobwebs in door corners, dust still on surfaces, picture frames etc - the cleaners are not cleaning well enough. It would be nice to have a small jar of coffee and some tea especially if you are arriving after the shops are closed.

Beautiful view and deck! Place was clean and cozy. No basic amenities would be my only heads up (olive oil, butter, coffee filters etc) that are normally provided so make sure to bring these things. Other than that great spot!

Houses to either side, but hill and trees provide relative quiet and privacy. Hill allows great view of water. Manager was friendly. Loved our stay!

Quaint Island Getaway

I thought the location would be a bit more private, however that could have just been my misinterpretation of the listing. But it was very quiet. Since I cooked every night, I did miss having a dishwasher.

Amazing spot
What a wonderful trip and space to chill. You have everything you need if you want to hang at the house with trails in the back, a short walk to the beach and walking distance to the village. We had some great fish and chips on a dog friendly patio at Bowen Island Pub. The Ruddy Potato had some great treats (we got apple cider fritters) and we picked up some wine next door. It was easy to take a day trip into Vancouver (just make sure you know the rules for the ferry line). Chris was my definition of a great host: not in your face but quick to respond if you need him. The view from the deck is worth every penny.

Long weekend getaway
Everything was perfect about the clean cozy cabin with spectacular views . Only thing to note is that the 10-15 minute walk is all up hill to the property . Not a bad walk at all but we were planning to walk into town for dinner each evening and it was a bit too much in the dark after dinner and drinks

Short family getaway
We managed to book a relatively last minute getaway with our little family on Bowen. Myself and my partner and our little 15 month old had a great time. The cabin was great and the third bedroom with only one window makes a good baby room. The spacious patio and view was appreciated by all. There is a nice beach within walking distance (though down a steep trail). There is a trail nearby that goes through the forest back into town which is more enjoyable (and shadier) than the road. It was a good trip.

Wonderful stay!
My two boys (aged 8 and 10) and I had a wonderful time. Chris was responsive and the home was very clean when we arrived. Close to everything, yet tucked away in the trees, we look forward to returning!
