There was mold in the shower, trash behind the bed, trash still in waste baskets, water had collected at the bottom of the refrigerator and was frozen solid, hair in the beds. When my husband complained the girl looked asked what our room number was and when he told her she said, "oh that room is on our list of not to use"?! Are you kidding me??? She said she would pass along all of our issues to the owner along with the pictures he sent her and the owner would be contacting us. That has yet to happen. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY!!!"

"We tried checking in after 3 PM but had to wait for a room to be cleaned. The room was clean enough but the rest of the building had dirty floors. The pool and hot tub were extremely dirty there was a film on the water and there was hair and other debris floating around. "

"I am from San Diego CA, and I have been a supervisor for places similar to this just spread out in different communities. I loved it here. It was quite, staff was super nice and friendly. It was clean. I would say just more detailed cleaning if anything needed. It is in need of touch ups. But that is pricey. If you are looking for relaxing and are not picky about every little detail then this place is perfect. If you are looking for Booshie go somewhere else. The price was great. The staff was very accommodating even with my day late arrival. They responded to every email I sent them. They are dog friendly. And I even got a free room upgrade to my surprise. If I ever come back to this area I will be staying here. Thank you to the Lodge staff for making my visit to Texas so welcoming, easy and relaxing. One more thing. The home made inf book was the best."
