"THIS IS NOT AN ACTIVE RENTAL anymore. Thankfully I saw another review from June 2025 saying the same. The day before (July 5th 2025) I had not heard anything from the host about check in. I happened to see a review from another guest saying their reservation was cancelled after their check in time and were told it was not a rental anymore. We were driving from Ontario and had been staying in Cape Breton. Luckily we were able to find somewhere else but it caused a lot of stress and upset. VRBO says this has not been rented since 2023. Take this listing down! I see it’s still available to rent and it’s going to ruin a lot of other people’s vacations. We drove past it on our way to our new rental and saw that a pool was being installed in the yard and obviously someone living there. Terrible!!! "
