Enjoy this log cabin with a wall of windows overlooking the lake. You will find an open concept kitchen, dining and living space as you enter the home, and you will be greeted with calming and stylish hygge decor throughout the first level. Hygge lifestyle is described as taking time away from the daily rush to be together with people you care about - or even by yourself - to relax and enjoy life's quieter pleasures.
There are two bedrooms up (including the master) and two bedrooms downstairs, both with full ensuite bathrooms. The downstairs area is for movies, ping pong, puzzling and more. Enjoy the sports and nature themed rooms in the lower level - perfect for kids with 4 twin beds in one bedroom and a king sized bed that can be broken apart into 2 twins in the second bedroom.
Outdoor living space abounds with walkout decks on the top level and walkout patio space (with a gas grill) on the lower level. Steps away from the home you can enjoy the built in fire pit, and it’s a short, flat walk to the dock where you will find ample seating and a towel drying line. Enjoy your days at the dock making use of the provided stand up paddle boards and kayaks. Private boat launch is available just a few doors down from our property. Note: the water is a bit shallow near the dock, usually around 3 feet. Excellent for young kids swimming safely off the dock, but take precautions and review water depth maps before deciding if your boat is a good fit for this property.
Please be aware that this is not a "party" area of the lake. Granite Hall Shores is very quiet with mostly full time residents. Please do not book this property with intentions to throw a late night, loud bash. Surrounding neighbors will not hesitate to contact me and/or the authorities for disturbances. Our property is best for families with kids or chill groups wanting to escape from the hustle and bustle to a relaxed setting.
The entire property is available for guest use, minus 2 owners closets (one in the master bedroom upstairs and one in a bedroom downstairs) - those closets are both securely locked.
-Fiber internet was installed in August of 2024, high speed internet connection should not be a problem! Note that cellular connection can be spotty in this area though.
-Trash disposal is located near the front entrance to the community.
-Closest gas station is ~10 minutes away.
-Nearest major grocery stores and restaurants are 15-20 minutes away.
