Our New Favorite Up North Getaway
This place is amazing! Stunning views! Cozy! Adorable! Exceeded all expectations! Not sure what those previous renters were missing. We loved every minute here! The cabin was clean, comfortable and just perfect. The views cannot be beat! Can’t wait to come back!

Better for a party weekend
This place wasn’t right for our family. It has lots of room to hang out and big leather furniture. The lake is really peaceful and we enjoyed eating pizza on the roof deck. However, there were many amenities missing for a family to stay for a week. There was a coffee maker, but only 3 very small coffee mugs. We found a bug in each of three rooms, including the kitchen, so we didn’t cook in the kitchen after that. There is AC in just one area, which may be difficult for an entire summer week. The fans were helpful, but dirty. We also found a container of KY jelly underneath the ‘king’ bed( just two twin beds next to one another) when we were sweeping to leave… Which leads me to my final suggestion: get a different management company: the yard was not mowed, there was junk in the yard, and the mugs and dishes had to be cleaned in order to be used(film and caked on bits). Nice, shallow lake. Boyne City is terrific and this is very convenient. With better maintenance and a few improvements, this would be worth what we spent to stay there.

Ski Trip with Friends
This place & location was great for a weekend getaway with friends to spend it skiing at Boyne Mountain. The quick drive to Boyne City was perfect to enjoy the downtown area. All in all, we absolutely loved our stay with the view of Deer Lake out back and would come back again!

Perfect Christmas Break
We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The property truly is "cozy". We enjoyed sitting by the fireplace while the children would hang out with us or head into the addition to play a game or watch the big screen TV. Some things to know: The password to the wireless is on the back of the router, not on any of the "notes" throughout the house. We attempted to contact the "guest contact" when the information on the notes didn't work but never got a response. I ended up buying a 9V battery to replace the beeping one in the smoke detector, again didn't get a response from the "guest contact". The coffee pot only makes 5 cups at a time, wasn't a big deal for us but could be slightly annoying with a larger group. There is a separate thermostat for the "addition", make sure you set it to "hold" or it may reset in the middle of the night. Overall we had a great experience and would stay again at this "cozy" cabin on the lake.

Rustic. Tranquil home
We really enjoyed our stay at this rustic cabin with an amazing view. We were surprised how clear the water was and you can walk our far, float swim etc. So clean. Enjoyed bonfires under the stars each night at their fire pit. House was bigger than it looked. Charming!
