"Loved the property and its proximity to the Capitol, the Mall and Metro stops. Was surprised when I got home for find I was charged a destination fee + tax of $23/day. I feel like that should be disclosed as part of the room rate. The daily parking rate is reported on the property’s website as $57/night but they don’t mention a parking tax of $10/night. Again, I expected the parking charge but not an almost 20% tax on that charge. Next time I want to visit the Nation’s Capital I think I’ll stay outside the city & use mass transit to travel in and out. "

"Had a wonderful stay at CitizenM. Everyone is super friendly and I love the design of the hotel and the rooms. This location is very convenient to the metro station (L’Enfant) and I bought a pass online and took metro from Dulles and the train everywhere during my stay. It’s about ten minute walk to a beautiful new waterfront with tons of restaurants and great views."
