Linda was extremely accommodating for late arrival. Was very quiet and did manage to sneak a peak at nearby peacock. We were grateful to have room enough for my daughter and us to get ready for her wedding.
We stayed for four nights. It’s a little ways from town but within a few minutes you are near major highways, restaurants, etc. hostess was lovely and the peacocks were an added treat.
The house was as described, very quiet area. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, I would highly recommend to friends and families looking for a place in the area.
Once again my husband and I loved our stay. It is such a relaxing and peaceful environment to go back to after spending the day times enjoying all the hustle and bustle of Fl.
This property is in a quiet location but close to main travel routes, so visiting sites of interest was easy. The cottage is well-equipped and very comfy.
The home is exactly as described, lovely and clean. Great location for visiting Bradenton, close enough to the city but in a quiet area. It takes about 15 minutes to get to LeComm stadium, the Riverwalk, and the Historical Village. Would love to visit again.
Loved the quiet garden and the peacock. Considerate host. Enjoyed some of the books and DVDs. Car needed as east outside of Bradenton, as expected. Stayed 4 nights

I enjoyed my stay, off the beaten track. The property was remote from all the commercial activities, yet still close enough to be in the heart of things within a few minutes. The cottage provided all the amenities of a home away from home, with an ample kitchen and laundry room.
My sister and I stayed here while in town celebrating our Mom's 90th birthday. Linda was an excellent host and so friendly.
We loved watching the wild peacocks on the property. The location is very private, beautiful, and so relaxing.
We definitely plan to stay here again!

Had privacy with a nice outdoor location. The inside had very little natural light, but plenty of lights. The yard fence was not in place d/t hurricane, but will be replaced.
Beautiful property, quiet, extremely clean. Provided with everything needed plus more. Cable TV, DVD, lots of dvd movies and books. Lovely owner. Loved every minute of our stay. More than advertised.
We greatly enjoyed our time at this house. The area is privately fenced and quiet, so even though it shares property with the owner, it felt private. The kitchen, bathrooms, and living room were well stocked and very homey, so we were very comfortable there and able to settle in easily. The owner put up some Christmas lights and a little tree, which made it feel more like home. We definitely want to come back another time! Thank you for a great stay!
Beautiful peacocks that will wake you in the morning, no rooster needed. Peacocks are fanning and dancing as I left the property. Very easy access to 75 and Sarasota and easy to get to many beaches. Had my adult kids over for a little cookout which was nice.
This is a small, cozy cottage. Its decor is dated but quaint. It is quiet and was easy to find. We didn’t cook so can’t comment on the kitchen accommodations other than it does not have a dishwasher. The mattresses are quite firm so that could be a problem if you prefer a softer mattress. Linda was a very pleasant host.
We (family of 3) came to the area for a days-long baseball tournament. We needed a roomy space and somewhere with a washer & dryer. This place fit the bill. A “home away from home,” with all the conveniences we needed. Warm, cozy, and nostalgic-feeling. Kinda like you’re staying at your great-aunt’s house. The property is in a very rural area, yet minutes from anything you could possibly need. The peacocks on the property are beautiful! Linda (host) is very responsive and answered any questions we had.
The house was very well set up, and clean. Everything worked well, it was quiet, and secluded. The automated air freshener got a little annoying. The beds were a little on the lower side of quality and probably could stand to be replaced with a better quality mattress. Even though the house is aged, it was well worth the price of the stay. A little off the beaten path (think farm), and the peacocks on the property were pretty and kept to themselves. A good stay.

Needs some work
Booked 3 nights, left after 2 nights. We met the owner when we arrived. She let us in and was very kind. Forgot to give us the Wifi info which could have been posted in the check in system notes. Not a big deal. -Didn’t feel comfortable taking our shoes off. Seemed to feel degree unswept or vacuumed. -bathroom smelled and should be cleaned around the toilet better. Also plaster or toothpaste on sink handle. -there is scented timed spray that seems to be there to cover up smells. -some sort of white powdrer and traps near couch. -couch is in rough shape and is very dingy-microwave was splattered inside. I hate to leave bad reviews, but this really did put a cramp in my trip. Had to get a hotel room that was very expensive for the last night in town.
