If you're looking for a place to stay with a lovely staff and cozy, clean accommodations a block from the beach and 10min walk to town, make this the one. Nested in a quiet residential neighborhood with beautiful homes and landscaping, we felt safe and peaceful at the James Bradley. The staff was very warm and friendly. They had beach chairs, umbrella and towels for us too. Very accomodating. My husband and I slept comfortably and daily breakfast was a treat. This is now my Bradley Beach home away from home.

We loved our weekend getaway at the James Bradley. It’s the perfect location, right next to the beach. The property is gorgeous, quiet and clean and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast included in your stay is delicious and there are plenty of dining options in Bradley Beach or Asbury Park and Belmar, which are a quick drive. We can’t wait to come back!

Great B&B !!

Excellent B&B. Staff was extremely attentive and accommodating. Beautifully appointed new rehab. 1.5 blocks from beach. The James provides chairs, umbrellas and towels!

Lovely interior and porch.The staff was responsive. Not optimal if you prefer a more eco-friendly experience. However, many will like the ambience--plenty of a/c and at night, they had (in the summer) a gas circular for fire, chairs around it.

The James is beautiful and luxurious. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here. It is relaxing and quiet and only a short walk to beautiful Bradley Beach. Having the beach pass included with your stay is a major pro. The breakfast in the morning is exquisite. I loved everything about it from the pastries to the variety of main course options and coffee. I liked our room. It was clean and crisp. My only gripe was our room did not have a refrigerator or full length mirror. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Beautiful rooms but limited bfast during week

Everything was great except advertised breakfast was not available (apparently only on weekends) which was the reason we booked it in the first place. The advertised Balthazar bakery goods were not provided only some fruit and sliced bread; staff was also not able to provide anything besides drip coffee - this should be made clear on their website. Otherwise, the place is quite nice and they do provide convenient beach chairs and towels which is a plus.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Bradley James Hotel, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish! First off, the location is fantastic. It’s conveniently close to the beach and some charming local spots and attractions, making it a great base for exploring the area. The hotel itself exudes a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The lobby is tasteful and immediately makes you feel at home. The room was comfortable and stylish, with a perfect blend of modern amenities and classic touches. My room was impeccably clean and I particularly appreciated the little details, like the complimentary cookies waiting there, which was a nice touch. The staff at The Bradley James Hotel truly make a difference. They were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. Whether I needed a recommendation for a local restaurant (thank you by the way) or had a question about the amenities, they were there to assist. I’ll definitely be returning!

Gorgeous hotel, walking distance from beach and shops, highly recommend! Room was also clean and quiet. The breakfast was also very good, buffet style, with great healthy options. I went as a young, under 20 year old couple, and we were treated the same as everyone else. Would definitely go back!
