"The Morgan San Simeon hotel needs updating it’s clearly been neglected and is in need of a major renovation. The building paint was worn and the fixtures were dated.
The condition of the room was pretty rough. The carpet was stained and felt dirty, and the walls were scuffed and marked up, giving the whole place a worn, neglected feel.
The bed frame was especially concerning, it was literally held onto the wall with clamps, which made everything feel cheap and poorly maintained rather than properly installed.
The room door felt questionable, the room had a deadbolt like something you’d see on a garden gate, not a hotel room, and it didn’t feel secure.
The bathroom didn’t help matters. The toilet had a cracked seal at the base, and the whole area felt old.
Definitely not worth the price, and I wouldn’t stay here again."
