"Great location for hiking or passing thought the National Park. Nice big property with 2 living rooms for chilling, a fully equipped kitchen and a big dining room. Showers and toilets are shared with all other rooms on your floor. Also towels have to be rented - £5 for two, this was an unusual encounter for us. Owner who showed us around was lovely. "

"Nothing but positive things to say about Sweet Donside Cabins. Cabins and facilities were spotlessly clean, TV beds very spacious and comfortable, with the attention to detail excellent. Hot tubs were clean and well maintained. Lots of extra touches including a welcome basket."

"I really enjoyed our stay here. The castle is charming, the breakfast and dinner were incredible and the staff were friendly and helpful. We only booked in for 1 night but I wished we'd been able to stay longer to explore the mountains and rivers on the estate. "

"Fabulous well-located property. Very convenient for exploring Deeside. The large eat-in kitchen had everything we needed to cook and gather together. Plenty private spaces for spreading out and enjoying a little peace and quiet, too. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms had everything we needed. Communication with Anna was perfect throughout. Highly recommend!"

"A lovely house with lots of space for 7 adults and a teenager. Good facilities for dining and a great space for leaving wet/muddy gear inside the back door, along with a handy utility room. Beautiful, large garden with great views. Good walks from the door, including 10mins down to the river which has good swimming spots. Quiet location but only 5mins walk into Braemar which is a lovely town with great eating places, especially recommend The Bothy and Farquarsons for food."
"The Braemar Youth hostel might be the most charming and lovely hostel I’ve stayed at. The location is peaceful and the facility itself is comfortable and cozy. This hostel has a great lounge, large kitchen with all the essential utensils, and the staff are so accommodating and pleasant. "
