"Beautiful home with spectacular views. The home is equipped with anything you need to prepare meals and enjoy your stay. Clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our week here. Centrally located to fantastic hiking and something to do for everybody. A week was not enough to discover it all."

"You must meet your host for the key, however he does not speak much English so that was a challenge. Be sure to email and call a few days in advance of your arrival to ensure that you can get a hold of someone if you need to communicate in English. Having a washer was great, but clothes must air dry in the lower level. Plan to wash in the evening and hang dry overnight and you'll have guaranteed dried clothes. "The stay was great overall. Our host was very attentive and helpful. Window broken upon arrival. Repair could not be arranged before our arrival. Some external lights not working/broken, following heavy storm. Parking also very tight for larger vehicles. Thanks "

"Das Chalet ist ohne Einschränkung zu empfehlen. Das Ambiente im Innenbereich ist modern und gemütlich, mit sehr schönem Ausblick auf die Berge. Im Chalet selbst ist an Ausstattung alles vorhanden, und selbst an einen Spielraum für Kinder wurde liebevoll gedacht. Der Minigolf-Platz befindet sich in direkter Nachbarschaft und der Dorfladen ist in wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen. Die neugierigen Kühe auf der Nachbarswiese rundeten das Urlaubsvergnügen ab. 100 Punkte von 100!"

"Lovely old style chalet. the lady we met was very nice and accommodating. The chalet is just 2 mins walk from the lake and is around 9mins walk to brienz west train station which is our main point to go to interlaken and other areas."

"awesome stay overall. only thing i would say is the staff is not well informed on the swiss travel pass information. the boat that stops at the hotel is covered by swiss travel pass however on arrival the staff told us it’s not covered causing us inconvenience. "

"Staff was very kind and helpful. Good assortment of foods for the continental breakfast. Area convenient to Old Town and train station. Only downside was no air conditioning in the rooms. This was noticed upon booking the hotel, but I didn’t think it would be needed at the end of May. A fan was provided, along with leaving window open at night provided some relief. "
