"We had a lovely stay for a couple of nights in the family suite (top floor). Clean, quiet and with a great view of the Minster. We had dinner and breakfast here as well and both were great."

"The hotel is a grand old lady, with hard working staff. All hotel area's clean, Staff went out of their way to help guests enjoy their stay, even the Chef went the extra mile for us. Friendliest hotel Iv stayed in for ages, bar man put quizzes on the bar TV for guests in the evening, No one was a stranger. Rooms had heating, that you could adjust yourself. Shower was a bit dodgy, but worked. Breakfast is complimentary & buffet style. Plenty of parking, even for EVs. I would return if I was in the area. "
