Fantastic property

Fantastic countryside escape with great amenities. Location gives good access to Vannes and Auray within a short drive. Wi-Fi at the property is weak, but cellphone signal is strong so if fast Wi-Fi is required take a cellular modem. We found the people managing the property to be helpful and attentive. Having rented many properties in Brittany Le Fetenio is one of the best we have found and already we have booked for 2024.

A delightful cottage, pretty, large gardens and a fantastic heated pool. It’s in a very quiet and tranquil location - great for relaxing. We made friends with the neighbouring farmer so the kids were able to see the baby calves and watch the cows being milked - they even gave us some home grown vegetables. A few things to note: It’s not in Brandivy itself as the listing leads you to believe but a few miles outside so a car is essential even for bread and milk. There is no bath - only a shower which wasn’t a problem for us but might be for those with very young children. You have to pay a 600 deposit on arrival - in either cash or cheque so if you don’t have a cheque book you end up with a lot of euros at the end of your holiday!! Internet wasn’t working for us for the 2 weeks unfortunately so we chewed through a lot of data!

This was our second visit, and while we had a positive experience previously, we encountered several issues during this stay that were disappointing. On the first day of our stay, the swimming pool was under maintenance, and we were unable to use it. By the time it was fixed, it was already too late in the day to enjoy. We also noticed that the sauna was not functioning throughout the entire week, with no visible attempts to repair it. Additionally, while the hot tub appeared clean, it only had two functioning seats, and even those did not work fully, leaving the third person in our party unable to use it. Another concern was the lack of privacy during our stay. The property management staff would visit without any prior notice, which made our experience feel less private and comfortable. We had been looking forward to a relaxing stay and the use of all the amenities, so this experience fell short of our expectations.

Relaxation in beautiful surroundings

We (two kids, and two adults) had a great week, relaxing by the pool, enjoying the beautiful countryside, visiting the coast, and enjoying nice food and wine from the local markets. The communication with the owner was straightforward and very helpful. We can highly recommend a visit!

Das wunderschöne Objekt umfasst zwei Haushaelften. Eine ist das Mietobjekt, die andere Hälfte gehoert der Vermieterin, die jedoch nicht vor Ort war. Daher hatten wir das komplette Grundstück, Pool etc. für uns. Der Pool ist wunderschön im Garten gelegen. Neben dem Pool die Terrasse, überdacht. Das Haus ist stilvoll eingerichtet, alles was benötigt wird ist da. Die Kommunikation war zu jeder Zeit super. Himmlische Ruhe und Landschaft drumherum.

Un havre de paix pour se ressourcer

Très bon emplacement pour des randonnées. La maison est très bien équipée et permet de se reposer dans un cadre paisible. Les prestations sont de très bonnes qualités. Les équipements (sauna, spa et très grande piscine) sont un réel avantage. Je vous recommande cette location.

Close yet not quite perfect

Starting off: this is a great property, spacious, sauna and jacuzzi, huge heated pool. The grounds are immaculately maintained and it is located in a (remote) beautiful area. YET (unfortunately there are quite some remarks). First of all it is located a 30 minute drive away from the golfe of morbihan so not really oceanside as advertised. The individual top items (house, pool, spa area) do not add up to a great outcome. E.g. The advertisement mentions 2 bathrooms..while that is true,yet the one bathroom is in the house and the other is in the spa (which is in a building in the garden). The pool house is advertised yet can only be rented for an additional fee. It is requested to take a shower before taking a swim yet also that is not next to the pool, there is no toilet in the neighbourhood of the spa nor the swimmingpool. There is a bbq yet no utensils,..... Anyway the house has a lot to offer, yet if you look for a seaside (or vincinity of the sea) property with 2+ bathrooms, this should not be in the list.

Points positifs : grande et belle maison très fonctionnelle et accueillante. Immense jardin/parc très beau, bien entretenu. Belle piscine. Points à améliorer : qualité de la literie et déclenchements intempestifs de l'alarme de la piscine la nuit lorsque des oiseaux /animaux viennent boire.

A lovely break

The house was lovely, the online photos don’t really do it justice.. it’s so much better. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side when we stayed so we didn’t get as much use of the pool as we would have liked. The area is very peaceful and a short car journey takes you to many lovely towns and ports. We would recommend parc de branfere and kingoland if you have kids. Thanks for a lovely break 😀

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à Fétenio. C'est l'endroit idéal pour visiter tout le golfe du Morbihan et se détendre entre deux visites avec la piscine et le spa.

Totale déception!

Depuis de nombreuses années nous sommes des habitués de sites comme Homelidays, Abritel, etc..et jamais nous n'étions tombés sur une annonce ne correspondant pas à la réalité comme celle-ci. -Oui, vous êtes en pleine nature et le site est beau. -Non, ce n'est pas luxueux (un jaccuzzi et un sauna ne suffisent pas à cela). La propreté laissait à désirer, la maison est meublée et équipée modestement et la literie est de qualité moyenne. Quant au Wifi, connection déplorable (0,11 Mbps!!!!), et pas de lecteur DVD. -Oui, il y a cette grande piscine tout à fait agréable quand elle est chauffée correctement...Malheureusement la tranquillité est INEXISTANTE. Le chenil du fermier voisin est contigu à la piscine ainsi que ses moutons. Les chiens de chasse aboient constamment, JOUR ET NUIT car personne ne les maîtrise. Et les mouches vous envahissent! Bref cette location est hautement surestimée et ne correspond pas au descriptif: Tranquillité absolue, luxe etc! Et nous l'avons rendue bien plus propre que nous ne l'avons trouvée!!!!

Une trés belle demeure si...

Une trés belle demeure située dans un cadre trés reposant en pleine nature. Les lieux étaient parfaitement bien entretenus. Que ce soit pour un jeune couple, ou pour une famille avec enfants, cette propriété est tout simplement extraordinaire ! Nous avons beaucoup profité de la piscine chauffée, du jaccuzzi le soir et du sauna ! Le jardin très fleuri,nous avons adoré la décoration rafinée et le style de la maison.Nous reviendrons, et nous le conseillons vivement !

"Très belle maison dans un magnifique environnement très calme. Nous avons bien pu profiter du jacuzzi, de la piscine et du sauna, très agréable. Seules petites remarques : le nettoyage de la maison n''était pas 100%, les matelas étaient un peu mou et il est précisé que cette maison est pour 6 personnes alors qu''il faut savoir que 4 personnes doivent dormir dans la même chambre !"
