"The hotel was close to Lake Cochrane, was reasonably priced, and included free breakfast. "

"This Lake Poinsett lakefront property was exactly as described. We appreciated that the kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed for meal prep. The bed was comfortable, loved the fluffy towels, and everything inside the home was clean. The lake service came and raised the dock while we were there which was great otherwise we had to wade through a few feet of water to get on the dock due to all the rain they've received. The owners were kind enough to offer early check-in and said we could stay past checkout on Sunday. Wish we could've taken advantage of that but had to get back to reality. The beautiful weather made our weekend even better. Unfortunately the fish must've left for the weekend as we didn't catch a thing! We enjoyed golfing at a couple of the local courses. This property is nothing fancy but if your looking for a reasonably priced stay on Lake Poinsett with all the basic necessities I would highly recommend it."

"Easy check in. The owner was even flexible and let us come early since it was ready. Nice kitchen, a bit small but was amazing to have a spare kitchen in the guest suite. Nice appliances. Nice big beach area with some toys on site. Great to have a blackstone and grill, crockpot, ect for use. "

"Great place beautiful location. Very comfortable and clean. We did need a booster seat for a toddler and a high chair. Otherwise all the comforts of home were available. Thankful for this nice option in Hendricks. "

"Pros: Plenty of room, decent size bathroom & kitchen- which was decently equipped. Nice enclosed patio. Cobs: Zero outdoor options ( no fire pit, kayaks, cornhole, lake floats etc) so bring your own. "
