"The getaway cottage was exactly as advertised. It was the perfect size for the two of us, and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. It was a short walk to the dock. Mike met us at the property for a quick tour, then left us to enjoy their beautiful property. We plan on making a trip back sometime next year."

"We stayed for three nights and had a really nice time. It felt like a home away from home. The house was clean and cozy. I really loved how they had a lot of cookware lol because I cooked a lot for my kids birthday. I enjoyed the seclusion of the home without feeling totally isolated in the area. My kids and I had a wonderful time visiting the nearby springs. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you!"

"My mom and I really enjoyed our stay here! We built a fire, enjoyed the string lights in the evening, and we were only a 15 minute drive from the Florida Folk Festival. "We had a wonderful stay at this adorable river house. It was supplied with everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the porch or deck and watching the boats on the river. "This is a lovely property near Fanning Springs. The owners were responsive & phoned to make sure everything was in order. The home is extremely comfortable, convenient to Hwy 19, location was perfect. I usually stay in Gainesville when traveling to this area to stay in a hotel, and I’m so glad this popped up on Expedia & I found Tranquil Oaks. I’ll be back when in area.
