"What a wonderful house in such a beautiful location. We loved every minute of our stay! It is so peaceful, yet not too secluded that you feel cut off. Perfect! The pool is fabulous; large and clean, and very welcoming on hot days. The house is very well furnushed and has everything you'd ever need for cooking eyc. "A lovely gite in a beautiful remote rural setting with a fantastic pool in an enclosed courtyard. The surrounding countryside is very picturesque but near to the pretty towns of Brantome and Boudeilles. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 (including 3 teenagers). "We stayed here for the second time and had forgotten quite how good it is. It has the most equipped kitchen with every utensil you wish for. There are several fridges so for a large group it is easy to cook and have space for drinks. We loved our stay and are grateful for the thought and care that has gone to furnishing this house. The gite is extremely well equipped with all the extras you need including washing liquid, dish washer tabs etc. the bed is very big and comfortable with good quality bedding; my husband is 6ft 4 and he found the bed a good size. "This lovely rural farmhouse provided plenty of space for our extended family of 6 adults and 3 children (aged 13, 4 and <2) to spend a relaxing week in a more peaceful area of the Dordogne. The pool was a huge hit with adults and children alike whilst the many outside areas allowed space for both sun or shade throughout the day. "Lovely views from the pool out across French countryside. Pool is modern, clean and good size. Some issues with the electric cover, but that was down to a failed sensor which is on order. House is lovely and unspoilt, we loved it. But for some the interior lighting might be on the dim side. This did not bother us as we were out by the pool most of the time. "This comfortable, well-appointed apartment is within easy walking distance to the cathedral and the historic center of Perigueux. With bedrooms and bathrooms on opposite ends, it would work well for a family or two couples. The apartment is quiet and very secure. We appreciated having a private parking place and direct access to the small park next to the cathedral. The street market in front of the cathedral was a treat. "Perfect paradise for a bohemian break . Quirky cottage in a quiet corner of beautiful rural France . Directions a little difficult to follow but the final discovery worth the search ! Staircase to the bedroom balcony makes a bathroom trip in the depths of night a precarious adventure but the overall ambience and amenities are delicious . Superbly comfy sofas and French scrabble makes the evenings simple fly by ."
