"Location is very calm and attractive. The whole hotel exudes an atmosphere of quiet, yet generous simplicity and a modern interpretation of rustic charm. The bedroom was more than adequate and the whole deal was good value There is ample parking and the breakfast was sumptuous in range, quantity and quality. Unfortunately there was no restaurant service on the evening of our stay, being a Sunday. Otherwise top notch."

"Super friendly, patient, helpful staff. Helped us organize our day trip to the Lake Saint Croix, boat rentals, etc. Rooms are spacious, bright, clean, quiet, comfortable. Bathrooms are beautifully tiled, fine grove fixtures, large tubs. Breakfast is delicious. Will come back. Just wonderful. "

"Excellent service from front desk and excellent food from the bistro. The property is very cool. Unfortunately our room had some issues. One was what seemed to be a faint lingering smoke smell. They had an air freshener, perhaps to mask it, but it was too strong and we put it outside. Second, the bed was hard and very uncomfortable. Lastly, plumbing issues, the shower head was spraying all over ceiling. The AC was shut off for season, but it was still quite warm in October when we stayed, so...
