The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect."

"Lovely old building with some beautiful original features. The rooms we had were extremely spacious and the beds were very comfortable, I certainly had a great night sleep! Breakfast was superb, a great varied menu and happy to make changes to suit. One big bonus was the enclosed garden which was great for the dogs. Sue and the staff we met were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We’ll definitely be back!"

"THE BREAKFAST WAS SUPERB A FULL ENGLISH WITH TOAST AND JAM, JUICE COFFEE/TEA CEREAL. THE EVENING MEAL WAS "HUGE" TWO MASSIVE SLICES OF GAMMON WITH SKIN ON FRIES TWO EGGS AND SALAD. WELL IMPRESSED. THE ROOM WAS SPOTLESS "WE WERE UPGRADED TO A LARGE DOUBLE" AND TEA/COFFEE LAID ON WAS A NICE TOUCH. THE OWNERS WERE REALLY NICE, AND INTRODUCED THEMSELVES TO US APOLOGIZING FOR THE WORKMEN WORKING ON THEIR ALARM SYSTEM. WE READ THAT SOME OTHERS GUESTS HAD COMPLAINED OF THE ROAD NOISE, BUT WE COULDN'T...
