Not the same Hotel
I have been staying at this hotel for many years as I worked in Belgium and wanted to introduce my friends to the wonders of Flanders food & super hospitality. Housekeeping and particularly the staff that run the restaurant are fantastic, they work so hard and cannot do enough for you to feel at home regardless how exceedingly busy they are. Unfortunately this hotel has change hands and this came apparent during our stay. The new owners have not got a clue how to run a hotel. Check-in took fourteen minutes, where the previous management and staff were always super quick and efficient, this was the complete opposite. In your room you have a fridge and this was always filled with complimentary soft drinks, this no longer exists, yet you still have a fridge!!! However, for some reason you do have two glasses and two biscuits but no kettle to make tea or coffee. The toilets are situated in the basement for customers using the restruant and Hotel, three of the mens urinals where out of action through out our stay.

het is een mooi, schoon hotel gelegen aan een schone straat. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk, behulpzaam en probleemoplossend ingesteld. Ik heb er een prima verblijf gehad en kan dit zeker aanraden als je in de buurt iets wilt gaan ondernemen. Top team en top lokatie. Dit is echt een aanrader.

For an American in Europe on business I keep forgetting that most hotels don't have A/C. The hotel staff was kind and answered my questions about Bree, but the hotel itself is nothing to right home about. The fridge couldn't get cold enough to chill my drinks, the bed was alright. The hotel was clean but nothing special.

Great little hotel
Hotel is a little hard to find at first, entrance is through a restaurant at street level with the hotel sign on the second floor. We booked the family rooms, which are at the end of a private hallway. Rooms were huge and bathrooms were spacious! Not 5-star fancy frills, but it is very good modern construction and very well maintained. It was also the quietest hotel I've ever stayed in, and I've traveled in over 50 countries for my job. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone - my family and I loved it!
