"Gorgeous wooden memorable hotel. It has wonderful charm and one of few buildings which has a sea view. We swam a few meters away from steps leading down into the sea water; ate and sipped drinks on the balcony; sat amongst the roses in the garden; read and browsed photographic book oks in the lounge. Breakfast and our host was lively and helpful. This is one of the great island stays of the world and you need to appreciate the creaking floorboards and walk down the hall to a shared bathroom. We are in love with this place.

"Basically this listing on hotels.com has a lot of information that is not listed on their listed but is only provided to you after you've booked. On the listing, prior to my booking, the check in time is from 0900hrs but after booking, the property sent me an email stating check in is at 1600hrs. That's a discrepancy of 7 hours! Contacted the property via hotels.com chat and they just conveniently said please refer to their website. Why didn't they just put the right information at the listing but rather send the via email after booking is done? Sounds very much like a scam. The 2nd thing is there is no sheets, pillow cases, duvet covers, towels and even toilet paper in the place! Contacts hotels.com, nothing could be done as they themselves could not get a hold of the property, called the property assistance, they said we should have ordered it online. Again, misleading information and why is this not listed on hotels.com listing? How do they expect people to even sleep without the covers? This was an absolute disaster. We called the property's hotline after much insistence and push, we got linen delivered. I mean seriously, the listing should have indicated everything. This place is an absolute disaster, it's insane and have given us an absolute horrible experience. DO NOT booking this place, run far away from this listing but with this information, maybe you might now know what to expect."
