Alternative zu Bremen

Ich hatte früher schon mal im Mexerhof übernachtet und wusste, dass das Frühstück gut ist. Ich musste in Bremen arbeiten, und da Bremen zum Zeitpunkt der Übernachtung ein Risikogebiet war, habe ich im Landkreis Diepholz auf dem Meyerhof übernachtet. Sehr gut: Parkmöglichkeit, Frühstück, Ruhe. Ok: Gemeinschaftsdusche hat am Morgen niemand genutzt, Gemeinschaftstoilette Weniger gut: Keine Nachttischlampe, Zimmerbeleuchtung nicht vom Bett aus bedienbar, unbeleuchtete Fernbedienung, also Fernseh gucken bei voller Festbeleuchtung im Zimmer und vor dem Einschalfen aufstehen um das Licht auszumachen...

Ein sehr schönes Objekt. Das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich und voller kleiner Überraschungen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich aufgenommen und haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Ich kann dieses Hotel nur wärmstens weiter empfehlen.

Overnight stay

I should have paid more attention to my booking. The rooms come with a shared toilet. Breakfast was decent. Plenty of free parking space. No elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. All in all, it was a cheap price and I was happy to have a bed to sleep in and take rest during a long journey on the road.

Ich muss da nicht unbedingt wieder hin.

Ich hatte bei der Buchung nicht Acht gegeben, dass Toilette und Dusche auf dem Gang sind. Das ist eher nicht so mein Ding. Dafür war der Preis aber wirklich sehr gut.

Rummet bra läget ok frukosten jätte bra. Men personalen och bemötandet när vi kom var hemskt och direkt otrevligt. Ingen öppen reception, inget wifi, och ingen restaurant. När jag bad dom försöka starta wifi talade en ytterst otrevlig ung man om ”att det är ingen storstad du kommit till” och att jag inte kunde räkna med att wifi skulle fungera. Otrevligt, otrevligt, otrevligt!

Didn't really get off on the right foot with the landlady. I'd booked a reservation, which she couldn't find, then asked me for double what I'd already paid. I wish that I could get over this, but it was a little uncomfortable then. Room had no view, not a problem. Shared toilet and shower, not a problem again. Breakfast, was plentiful, if you were quick enough to get there before the greedies were there. Hence not alot of choice left. The restaurant in the evening didn't appear open, but if you do go here, and there's no reason why you shouldn't. Cross the road, turn right and head up to the sports ground. There's a super Italian restaurant. I'd go back to both places.

Nicht immer in klein gedruckte schreiben!!!

alles an allem hat es mir gefallen, aber die Preise sind sehr Unterschiedlich. Habe bei der Fahrt nicht alles lesen können(klein gedruckte!) habe für 38 € gebucht, habe ein Zimmer mit Bett und Fernseher bekommen (kein WC und Dusche) wenn für diesen Preis nur gemeinsame WC und Dusche! Musste ein Zimmer für 67 € nehmen. Wurde nur Schlüssel übergeben und mich mein Erfahrung machen lassen. Bin mit alle meine Sachen wieder Runter laufen müssen. Erst dann wurde ich mit einen Lachen aufgeklärt! Habe neu Hüft Prothese bekommen und da hoch und runter zu laufen, bin ich schon sehr früh auf dem eingeschlafen. Danach waren alle drei Damen freundlich.

Our room was at the end of the hall with a little deck area. We were able to open the windows and the door to have a nice breeze flow through during a very hot day and it cooled the room to a comfortable temperature. The breakfast, which was included, was amazing. So much to choose from. The food from the restaurant was also very good.

Hatte ein Economy Einzelzimmer mit Waschbecken (im Zimmer) und Gemeinschaftsbad gebucht. Das es nur eine Gemeinschaftstoilette gibt, stand leider nicht in der Zimmerbeschreibung. Sehr hellhörig und laut, definitiv Ohropax mitbringen. Ausstattung spärlich, kein Nachttisch, keine Nachttischlampe und eine unbeleuchtete Fernbedienung (viel Spaß beim Fernsehschauen im Dunkeln...) Gutes Frühstück und viele Parkplätze
