"No staff there for check in! And you guess which cabin to stay in. We finally figure out after 10 mins and should be the same picture as it showed on the hotel.com ad. The outside looks nice. Inside the cabin it is dated but we love the bed and to my surprise, the hot water runs really well. We made dinner there too as there was no restaurant nearby. So be prepared if you needa stay here for a nite. Also a bonus point is you get to use their kayaking across the road. Very relaxing."

"The property is pretty awesome and I appreciate that it was quiet and not super busy. It was a weekday, but mid-summer. We loved the space indoors and outdoors. Lots of options to relax. My concerns were there not being an active office on the property. To reach someone incase of something was challenging. They have office hours, and was curious what you'd do if someone was being loud at night or needed access to something. Otherwise, great place, definitely coming back!"

"The house and the view was beautiful! The issues we had were there were crumbs in two of the beds. When we plugged in one heater it blew a fuse. I called about it, but I never received a call back. One of the bathrooms smells moldy so we think the rug and shower curtains need to be replaced."

Making our daily blackberry crisp from the half acre of berries, as well as a plumb pie from the tree…. Grilling fish, steak, and burgers on the porch grill…. Playing ball at the bottom of the hill out back, running the trails in the adjacent park every morning, hiking in the evening, I wished we had our mountain...
