"The stay was disappointing for a 4-star hotel and felt overpriced for the value and service you get. The sharp mildew smell from the kitchenette basin table top in the bedroom amd the closet behind the shower was unbearable. It seems the aircon also leaks onto the wood. The front door handle was loose as if broken before, which made us uneasy with the intense website warning of potential trespassers. Security at the entrance gate was very friendly, but didn't once scan/record a driver's/car...

"In general the hotel is very run down. Things falling apart and dysfunctional, including pool area and umbrellas and gardens. The resort is in desperate need of serious maintenance. Also, no wi fi in rooms for a 4 star hotel is not really acceptable. Poor conditions somewhat compensated for by the first class and much appreciated service from Petrus and some of his staff -especially chef and Thabisa."

"Following our intense 5 day hike in the mountains My wife and I had a 1 night stay at The Knysna Belle to rest and allow our bodies to breathe and recover. Michelle was super helpful knowledgeable and wonderful and she took great care of our comfort indeed. The place is beautiful set in a tranquil environment with Knysna heads visible and Mesmerising. Le camere sono standard, non tanto grandi; per andare a letto da una parte è molto stretto e non si può fare a meno di pestare la tenda, che è quindi piuttosto sporca. "Beautiful views and great potential, but the experience felt rushed and a bit flat. The property sits on expansive land with roaming wildlife, including zebras — a real highlight.
