We didn't want to stay in a hotel in the heart of town, because you don't get much room to move around in your room, and no refrigerator or microwave, just a bed to sleep in. So we opted for this little cottage. So you do get a microwave and refrigerator, but still not much room to move round in. And you're not really in the center of town, you still have to take a bus or drive into town, so you might as well have stayed in a hotel. I don't know, I wish I could...

"We had the most amazing time in Meisenheim. The house is in a great location with parking close by. It's walkable to the bakeries, shops and many restaurants. The house is very nice with all the old world charm you would want and expect from a building with such history. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone in our party. "Great property and great hosts! The house itself was absolutely charming with beautiful tile, woodwork, and windows. Plenty of room and very comfortable for four adults. The hosts Eva and Wolfgang were very friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Beautiful animals on the property. Truly one of the best places we’ve ever stayed."

"We hebben genoten van de plek, rustig, ruim, veel privacy mogelijkheden in huis, als je zoals wij met 4 vriendinnen bent. Keuken uitrusting basic, alles is er. Fijn balkon en mooi uitzicht, je bent zo in de natuur. De wc zat in de badkamer, dat was soms wat onhandig. Prima plek! Gastheer was niet aanwezig maar wel goed te bereiken voor vragen."

"Wir waren zu 5 Personen angemeldet aber nur für 4 Personen Bettwäsche vorhanden. Eine Beschreibung der speziellen Elektrik, Fernseher, Pool war nicht vorhanden daher nur sehr eingeschränkt nutzbar. Terasse ohne Gartenmöbel nicht nutzbar. Des Weiteren war die Gartenpflege sehr mangelhaft (Wildwuchs/Unkraut). Vorhandener Grill unhygienisch. Pool Abdeckung total verdreckt. Sitz Mobiliar instabil, Verletzungsgefahr……Leider kann man vorhandene Bilder hier nicht einstellen da nicht Familienfreundlich....

"We had a lovely 2 night stay at this property in the Standard Room, Bathtub (this little cottage-like room was beautiful and quaint and the bathtub was very, very nice). We had breakfast both days in the hotel and it was lovely with great options for food, great service, and beautiful scenery. On arrival, we were checked into our room quickly and they offered to bring our bags in. There were delicious snacks and drinks in the room for us to enjoy and great dining and drink options offered through the day (for purchase). We spent hours in the guest-only garden exploring and hiking, spent hours sitting out overlooking the picturesque Rhine River that runs through Oberwesel. On our second day, we had arranged for a wine tour through the hotel with a local vintner and would rate it 5 stars! We did not get dinner at the hotel but the views from the dining area are unmatched. Overall this was a fun and very unique lodging experience that I’d recommend for anyone to stay in! It did help that we had a car and drove ourselves from the Frankfurt Airport - very convenient to so so! We made a day of our travel out and stopped by Burg Eltz too to fit more in!"
