This is a lovely European hotel. The staff was welcoming, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The building is 400 years old so the layout is a bit quirky. There is no elevator but the room had all the modern amenities. There are ground floor rooms. There was a spiral staircase to our first floor room. The hotel is centrally located. We walked from the train station to the hotel and from the hotel to the river cruise dock.

Great central location to the major interest in Paris. The neighborhood is very nice with a nice choice of restaurants and small markets. Close to the metro and tower.

Our check in went smoothly. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The property is undergoing some renovation; however, no inconvenience or noise. Would return again do to proximity to everything.

"The room smelt of cigarette smoke and it was obviously a know issues as the window had been open as the room temperature was the same as out side. Other than that the staff were amazing and made my visit a pleasure. Warm smiles and welcoming whenever I passed, Even before I informed them of my problem. ..."
