Welcome to the Land of Waterfalls ! Transylvania County has over 200 waterfalls for you and your furry friend to hike to. This Pet Friendly Mountain Retreat is on a quiet street in the spectacular Connestee Falls community. This area is like staying in a State Park! Wildlife with 24/7 security and gated entrances, birds , deer and trees abound and will relax you in this charming home located at 2600' elevation .It is centrally located in Connestee so you are close to many activities This 2 bedroom, 2 bath home has been completely remodeled with attention to detail to make this home comfortable for you and your family. 2 new queen memory foam beds with freshly laundered and sanitized linens along with 2 small pull out couches in the living room (each couch could comfortably sleep a small or young person). We also have a travel pack and play with a waterproof mattress for an extra fee. This mountain retreat offers free high-speed wi-fi/internet, wi-fi calling, linens and Biltmore towels, washer/dryer, new gas log fireplace, a full dining table and more. Please see the short video in the photos section.

Everything you need is on main level and you also have a basement garage with a storage room to safely lock up your toys, such as: bikes and kayaks. The kitchen has top of the line stainless appliances, stunning granite counter tops, a stone gas fireplace, and the quiet location. Outside you will be able to entertain on the screened front porch or the back sun deck which overlooks a very small babbling stream.

Connestee Falls does have a brand new wellness center you can work out in for $10 daily fee , clubhouse, access to 4 lakes to swim or kayak in , tennis, pickleball, bocce , 14+ miles of private hiking trails, waterfalls and so much more , Please feel free to inquire for more information or if you are not going to use any of the community amenities. You will be located within a short drive to of DuPont State Forest, Pisgah National Forest, Caesar’s Head State Park, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. A 15 minute drive will land you in charming Downtown Brevard— filled with restaurants, shops and more. Downtown Asheville, Asheville Airport and the Biltmore Estate are within an hours drive.

This is an environmentally conscious rental !!Only non-toxic, unscented, cruelty free cleaners with lavender, lemon and peppermint essential oils used. All COVID cleaning protocols have been followed .If you would like to stay longer than 3 weeks, we may be able to accommodate your request.

Peaceful stay

Such a quiet, peaceful location with many deer and amazing hiking right in the neighborhood. Home was super clean and had lots of extras available like lake towels and dog bowls. We enjoyed our two night stay here.

Very clean house, amazing location and super hosts!

This house was just as advertised. We had an amazing stay with our family. The development is very close to town and has a lot of amenities and hiking. The owner is extremely responsive in the check-in process was straightforward.

The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. The house has everything you need and perfectly maintained. A mom and two fawn became my partners while I sat on the screened in porch.

The best mountain getaway!

Sky Dog Mountain Retreat was exactly what my husband and I were looking for to escape for a couple weeks in the NC Mountains. Booking and communication with the owner was so smooth and easy; everything was communicated with great detail. The house was newly updated and very cozy and Connestee Falls has so much to offer. We loved everything about this place and will be reserving again in the future. We definitely recommend this place for your next visit!

Very comfortable stay

Stayed for 7 weeks. So cozy and had a hard time saying goodbye. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable furnishings and several comfortable outdoor sitting spaces. Very responsive host if we had any questions. Definitely would stay again.

Loved the house and community!

The house was great and super-clean and well stocked. Loved the hiking trails in the community and nearby parks. We ate at the clubhouse and played tennis on the community courts. And shopped in Brevard. Overall, a great vacation.

Once again enjoyed our stay at this very comfortable and well maintained property. We did not want for anything. I cook a lot and I had no need for any utensils or cook ware. . Every detail was well thought out. Would book again if we need it or have extra company.

Perfect Mountain Retreat

We love Connestee Falls, and this little house was THE BEST! Clean, spacious, comfortable, and so much attention to detail. And the kitchen and screened porch are AMAZING!! Wonderful to be able to bring our little dog too. The owners have thought of everything. We can’t wait to come back again!

Adorable Pet Friendly House

My husband and I wanted a weekend getaway with our 2 dogs that was close to hiking and breweries. This house is the perfect rental. It is very cozy and inviting; we really loved the fireplace and screened in front porch. The house is clean, well stocked, and very pet friendly! The house is in a beautiful gated community but still felt secluded. We saw numerous deer near the house. It is a quick drive to downtown Brevard and the Piegan and DuPont Forests for hiking!

Lovely experience!

Our stay in CFalls on Junaleska surpassed my expectations. The home was loaded with details that I didnt expect, and if I had a question(I'm a VRBO novice) the owner got back to me almost immediately. I'm a very healthy and environmentally conscious person and so are the owners- from the laundry soap provided to the bathroom amenities. The house was spotless and all the kitchen, laundry, garbage instructions were very clear and easy to follow. We will definitely be back. Thank you for helping to make our stay so special!

Beautiful and Quiet

This is a beautiful property. Connestee Falls itself is a great community in the mountains and this home was situated on a nice quiet street. Plenty of room for me and my 2 dogs. I was able to work during the day with the wifi that was available for use. Very Pet Friendly which can be hard to find for 2 100lb but well behaved dogs. The owner was responsive with any questions i had. Definitely a great place for a small family or 2 small groups and dogs. Plan to stay here again when coming back to the area.

Summer mountain biking trip

Very easy check in and check out process. Owner contact is amazing and very friendly. The house has all new amenities and is very comfortable and inviting. Open floor plan with a nice area to cook, eat, and all be together. Access to a garage for secure storage. Nice location with easy access to both DuPont, downtown Brevard, and the trails in pisgah. Both a front porch and a back to relax on and grill out with a new Weber gas grill. I have rented numerous homes in Brevard and this one will definitely be on my “will return to” list. It is located in a private and quiet location within a gated community and access coming and going is easy and straightforward. We all had a great time and can’t wait to return.

Beautiful Place

House was perfect! We enjoy cooking and the kitchen was perfectly stocked and easy to locate everything. The TV room was comphy and lost of sitting room. My favorite place was the screen porch. We were lucky to have great weather and the dogs and I loved that space!

Absolutely splendid

Beautiful home, beautiful area. Honestly we could not have asked for more. Brevard is a true gem and Connestee is the place to stay. The house was immaculate, clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable week long stay. One of the best places we have a stayed in Brevard.

The house exceeded expectations.

painless process, everything was as expected, special consideration given to our 12 lb mini poodle. We have spent many years in Brevard and enjoyed this as much as the other rentals. Golf course was in the best shape ever as were the tennis courts. Great group of tennis players about 50 of all levels.. Even the Cafe was excellent. Great follow up and generous necessities.
