Maple Street Dogs OK, single level home, walk to DT Brevard, free Biltmore pass

This home located in a quiet downtown neighborhood and is the perfect blend of convenience, comfort and relaxing atmosphere. It's a nice family getaway, and the small fenced area in the back yard is great for dogs. The quiet neighborhood is great for walking, and you can easily get downtown with sidewalks all the way. FREE activities for stays under 29 nights, including Biltmore, Rock Wall, Zipline, Whitewater Rafting, Trampoline Park, Snow Tubing and Axe Throwing.

The home is all on one level. Access is easy, just park in the driveway and come up on the front porch where you will enter through the front door. Inside is a comfortable living area with large TV, three bedrooms and a well stocked kitchen. There is a queen bed in the main bedroom, a second bedroom with a full bed, and a third bedroom with two four-post twin beds. We love the screened porch with its swinging chair overlooking the back yard. The back yard is absolutely gorgeous because the former owner was a master gardener. It seems as though there is always something in bloom throughout spring, summer and fall.

Check out the shopping, dining and scenery as you walk down Main Street. A favorite is Main Street Ltd., a great gift shop right next to Quotations Cafe. Of course, Brevard is home to the renowned Brevard Music Center, and is also host to annual festivals including the White Squirrel Festival in early June, great 4th of July festivals, the Mountain Song Festival every September, and lots of fun activities on Halloween (Brevard is in Transylvania County, after all). It's a quick drive to the Porter Center, which is the performing arts venue for Brevard College. We are five minutes from the Brevard Music Center, home of the Mountain Song Festival and many other exciting musical events throughout the season.

You can get to Pisgah National Forest in about ten minutes, the DuPont State Forest is about a 20 minute drive, and it takes about 30 minutes to get to the beautiful Gorges State Park. Asheville and Hendersonville are both about 40 minutes away, and both feature lots of attractions if you want to take a day trip or two. A lovely house in a great neighborhood close to downtown. Easy walk to all of the restaurants, shops, bars, breweries and other activities in town. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location

My family had a great stay at this property on our recent trip to Brevard. The house was perfect for the 5 of us, and we really enjoyed the screened porch and beautiful backyard. A short walk had us downtown with the wonderful shops and restaurants. We look forward to staying here again when we come back to Brevard.

We loved our little getaway weekend at Brevard at this property very convient to go to the college. The house was very comfortable. Love coming to Brevard to cook for my son while he is at the college and this house made it so nice to be able to do that. Felt like home

This house and location were perfect for our girls 3 night stay. Everything walking distance and really enjoyed some of the local restaurants only 2 blocks away. House is comfortable, but a bit dated as stated in other comments.

Lovely cottage!

My sister and I had a great weekend stay in this lovely yellow cottage on Maple Street. We grew up in Brevard and were returning to visit friends and family. The check in process was seamless, the cottage is well equipped, clean and within a short walk to downtown. It is perfect place for a visit to Brevard. Thank you for hosting us!

Charming cottage! Very inviting, right down to the artwork on the walls. Well stocked kitchen along with all the supplies throughout the house. I really appreciated how clean everything was. Perfect location situated in a quiet neighborhood with large yard. Would not hesitate to book here again!

Comfortable and clean

This is a comfortable old house in a great neighborhood, close to downtown Brevard. Booking and communication was very easy and appreciated. Though the bathrooms and kitchen need updating, the house was very clean and the furniture, including the bed we used, comfortable. Since we eat in a lot, some of the pots, pans and silverware need to be replaced. That was disappointing. We had breakfast on the screened -in back porch, which overlooks a large and attractive backyard(including a small, completely fenced in area for our dog). We recommend this property.
