This home located in a quiet downtown neighborhood and is the perfect blend of convenience, comfort and relaxing atmosphere. It's a nice family getaway, and the small fenced area in the back yard is great for dogs. The quiet neighborhood is great for walking, and you can easily get downtown with sidewalks all the way. FREE activities for stays under 29 nights, including Biltmore, Rock Wall, Zipline, Whitewater Rafting, Trampoline Park, Snow Tubing and Axe Throwing.

The home is all on one level. Access is easy, just park in the driveway and come up on the front porch where you will enter through the front door. Inside is a comfortable living area with large TV, three bedrooms and a well stocked kitchen. There is a queen bed in the main bedroom, a second bedroom with a full bed, and a third bedroom with two four-post twin beds. We love the screened porch with its swinging chair overlooking the back yard. The back yard is absolutely gorgeous because the former owner was a master gardener. It seems as though there is always something in bloom throughout spring, summer and fall.

Check out the shopping, dining and scenery as you walk down Main Street. A favorite is Main Street Ltd., a great gift shop right next to Quotations Cafe. Of course, Brevard is home to the renowned Brevard Music Center, and is also host to annual festivals including the White Squirrel Festival in early June, great 4th of July festivals, the Mountain Song Festival every September, and lots of fun activities on Halloween (Brevard is in Transylvania County, after all). It's a quick drive to the Porter Center, which is the performing arts venue for Brevard College. We are five minutes from the Brevard Music Center, home of the Mountain Song Festival and many other exciting musical events throughout the season.

You can get to Pisgah National Forest in about ten minutes, the DuPont State Forest is about a 20 minute drive, and it takes about 30 minutes to get to the beautiful Gorges State Park. Asheville and Hendersonville are both about 40 minutes away, and both feature lots of attractions if you want to take a day trip or two. My family had a great stay at this property on our recent trip to Brevard. The house was perfect for the 5 of us, and we really enjoyed the screened porch and beautiful backyard. My sister and I had a great weekend stay in this lovely yellow cottage on Maple Street. We grew up in Brevard and were returning to visit friends and family. This is a great place to stay in Brevard Easy walk to downtown shopping, dining and breweries Close to bike path that takes you all the way to entrance to Pisgah We used this as a base for a weekend cycling trip. My wife and I stayed at 58 Maple St. in Brevard for a brief WNC getaway. We found the house to be very clean and well-stocked with a brand-new full-sized gas range, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. This house is within easy walking distance to downtown Brevard and centrally located for hiking in Pisgah and Nantahala National Forests. We needed to extend our stay an extra night and had no problem contacting Pete Key Properties the day before our scheduled departure and making the arrangements. We are seasoned vacation rental guests and would wholeheartedly recommend this house to couples and families staying in the Brevard area.
