" The development the house is located in is easy to navigate, has great amenities, and everyone we encountered was really friendly. Check-in instructions were very easy to follow, owners were easily accessible, kind, and very quick to respond. House itself is beautiful, although definitely lived in. However, housekeeping really needs some work. All of us found hairs of different lengths in and on our bed sheets, there were balloons left stuck in the windows downstairs (last guests had a celebration maybe?), a strange orange substance was splattered in the shower on the curtain and tub, under the bench by the hot tub is covered in spider webs and dirt or dead bugs which we had a perfect view of upon sitting in the hot tub, and marks/stains on our bathroom cabinets. Also strange was the large hole in the wall in the master bathroom presumably where someone knocked the soap holder off the wall and it was just awkwardly placed in the closet? Might have been a good idea to simply mention that in the listing. Two of the remotes in our room were out of batteries so couldn’t be used unless we took them from other appliances, so we could only use the remote on 1/2 of the bed which was a big letdown as the hot tub and adjustable bed were the big reasons we chose this house as my husband was running a marathon. Overall we had a great time with family despite the negatives but this house could really be amazing with a few tweaks. "
