"Nice property for weekend getaway. There is a great view of the lake from the patio. The public beach is just down the road from the house. Albert Lea has several local diners, ice cream shop, farmers market and various shops to visit. Diamond Jo Casino is just down the freeway if you like. The lake house has what you might need - comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms, kitchen includes toaster, coffee maker, dishes and utensils. As someone else mentioned, not sure why they require 1500 deposit or the insurance for cleaning or damages. Otherwise, this was exactly what we were looking for "

"We stayed here for a baseball tournament for one of our sons and it was a great place for the price. We had a little hiccup with getting in (we didn’t receive the email with the check-in code and had to call the host but it was quickly resolved). We had everything that we needed and it worked for us. We ended up leaving a day early because we didn’t need to stay for the tournament but it would have been great otherwise.One thing to note is that laundry machines aren’t free for use. We had to go out to get quarters from a store to do our baseball uniform wash-up, which is different from other rentals where we have stayed. Not a big deal, but helpful to plan before you go. Thanks for a good stay!"

"The property is clean, living area is spacious and comfortable, and we had everything we needed for a long weekend. Check in and check out are easy. The property is in a great location with easy access shops or a walk by the lake. We have stayed here multiple times and will be back again. Great communication from the hosts!"

"We had a plan to go north for some cooler weather and some relaxing water time. Rain interrupted most of that plan. The hot tub and kayaks were there the whole week. We just didn't get to them because of the rain.Instead we got the equivalent of a stay at home vacation with some of the best amenities we needed - plenty of space for alone time for reading and great shared spaces for watching movies, playing games, and doing puzzles.The house was clean. The views were excellent (when we could see down to the water). In the end, we all left relaxed and rested. We plan to come back so we can actually use the water, hopefully!The house is great value and fantastic. The descriptions are accurate."

"The rooms were clean but the daily refresh of he room (stayed 4 nights)was limited. I had fresh towels everyday but garbage was not taken out day to day, Kleenex was not refilled after running out, paper coffee cups were not replenished day to day. the bed spread and blankets were pulled up but the bed was not "made". These are all something we are used to from other hotels but was not a "requirement"."

"We had an issue getting into the house as we hadn’t received anything from the host for the door keypad. But we went to have supper and he messaged and all was good. Property was great, very clean and cozy. Was just what we needed for a weekend away!"
