This is in regard to reservation number 73099011430246. I was at the property and there was no one there and no way to check in. There were telephone numbers on the door and I tried calling them for 2 hours but no one answered. I ended up having to book a much more expensive place to stay tonight, as you can see in my account. I also paid $65 to get to the Melbourne Apartments from the airport so that is also a waste. Plus the Uber to get to the new place was an additional $40. I have been traveling all over the world for the last 40 years and never experienced this before. I am requesting a full refund for this reservation and I ask that the Melbourne Apartments property be taken off of your app as an option.

Terrible ! Terrible ! Terrible ! This institution should be placed under strict health quarantine. The staff were rude and complacent. The rooms were in a deplorable state and terrible smelling. When asked for a refund, a dispute erupted into a heated argument causing my reinstatement at a different hotel. I would not recommend you stay here. The rooms are not what are displayed on Expedia and nothing is decent for living.

Last minute trip

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I arrived a little late in the evening but at reception I was able to purchase some supplies e.g drinks. The kitchen and bathroom were clean and the bedroom room area was spacious. I have no complaints. In addition a supermarket and coffee shop about 5 minutes walk and it isn't far from downtown.

DON'T STAY IN THIS PLACE!!

I booked this room, and wasted the money. I couldn't stay in this place. The place looked like a house where women sold themselves. I stayed in this place for maybe 15mins. The internet wouldn't work. I needed internet for my work. That was the only reason I was in Barbados. I had to find another hotel. Thanks alot Hotels.com (A refund will be nice)

I don't recommend

I did not enjoy my stay. The "hotel" is on the street, there is no AC and all of the windows are caged and left open. I felt unsafe. It was also very noisy and approximately 15-20 minutes from the airport. The bed was also very uncomfortable. I left to spend the rest of my lay over in the airport because I simply could not stand the heat. On a positive note, it was clean and the staff was friendly.

Living where the locals live

The hotel is really central to alot of places but isn't necessarily right by anything. The area is surounded by locals and from what i saw no othrr hotels anywhere nearby. Staff is very friendly but realize this is a hotel not a resort. If your looking for a cheap place to stay and want to save even more money by taking buses everywhere (since there is the main bus stop right outside the hotel) definitly not a bad option.

Don't stay here !

We showed up to the hotel and it was locked up. No one there to let us into our rooms even though we had already been charged online.
