A Perfect Memorial Day Weekend
This was what my family described as a perfect weekend. The house was amazing - so much room for my family of 10 (6 adults and 4 grandchildren 4 and under). The kitchen was big, updated, and full of everything you need. Two beautiful full bathrooms. The views of the beautiful lake from just about every room on the first a second floor. Private beach, life jackets for all sizes, sand toys, kayaks - I could go on. An absolute gem. My family wants to make this a yearly event. I’m in!!

Best all-family vacation place ever!
We were in great need of an all-family get away after a really challenging year. This place had everything we needed: large beautiful yet sturdy house next to a gorgeous lake; peaceful and cozy; close to cute towns and outdoor activities; good for our dog; nice games and indoor amenities; lovely property owners who helped facilitate everythibg. We left feeling very restored!

Amazing Experience
Everything was great about this property. The house was clean and well stocked. We had everything we needed and more when we arrived. Highland Lake was the highlight of our trip. The lake is pristine and was great for swimming, kayaking, and boating. Bridgton and Naples were close by and offered great restaurants, shops and things to do on rainy days. Ben was communicative throughout the booking process and made everything easy for us. There had been a big storm in the area the week before our stay and Ben made sure that all was well with the property. If he had not told us before our stay, we would have never know. Overall it was a great experience and we'd definitely stay again

Lovely summer getaway
Overall this property was amazing. We had our extended family here for a week and there was plenty of room for all of us. Many updates throughout, and the home is stocked with many convenient extras from kitchen and bathroom items to life jackets. The kayaks were a bonus and used many times by us. The sandy beach area is perfect for swimming, and the firepit was great. The only perceived negatives, which aren't anyone's fault, were that the next door neighbors on the right side of the beach are extremely close, and there were people there all day every day. Also, as stated in the listing (but we didn't catch it), there are no laundry facilities in the home available for use. This was fine, we just had assumed there would be and should've packed adequately. Other than that, the place is awesome. Close to town, but didn't feel the busy-ness of in town living. The lake was also pretty quiet as well. We were able to rent a pontoon boat in town which was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great experience, Ben and family!

Slice of Heaven in Highland lake
Perfect house for our family in Highland Lake. Large windows in all the lakeside rooms had beautiful view of the Lake. Kitchen was clean and well appointed, modern clean bathrooms. Loved the kayaks and the firepit and the float dock.

Highly recommend
6 adults, 6 kids between 4 and 8 years old, and 1 dog stayed at this property for a week and we loved it. Everyone just kept saying what a great spot it was. The beach was nice and sandy and prefect for the kids and dog to play and swim. They loved to swim out to the swim dock and jump off. The boat dock was plenty deep deep for my 21ft bow rider. We fished from the dock and caught some of the biggest bass i've seen on a daily basis. One of the kids alone caught over 20 fish (catch and release). The yard was a good size for some yard games, playing catch and those types of things. The house itself was updated and spacious. All the utensils, pots, pans, etc. That you could need was there. The water heater kept up with all 12 of us, good water pressure too! Could have used a washer and dryer for cloths and towels, and maybe a few ACs in the bedrooms for warm nights but it certainly didn't take away from the wonderful experience we all had. Would 100% go back.
