A quaint, charming little pub with rooms to stay. We booked our stay after a helicopter ride. Tracey and her team were welcoming and friendly. Our room was clean and had everything you would expect with the added bonus of homemade cookies to go with your complementary tea or coffee, there was a small fridge where you could fill your little milk jug with fresh milk (which was better than the little milk pods), you had toiletries in the bathroom so you could just turn up and really enjoy your stay. We reserved a table at the restaurant as we were a party of four, we had a drink outside in the sun which was enjoyable and then sat inside for our meal. The menu is varied with so much choice for all three courses, there was so much to choose from and we were totally spoilt for choice!!! Really impressed with the food and quality of food... The breakfast the following day again was superb...fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt toast, fresh orange juice and a home cooked breakfast....it really did set you up for the day!!! To sum it up a lovely time was had by all of us. I would recommend highly a stay here for the night or a visit to sample the excellent food and service. Wish we had a local pub like this we would be over the moon, you rarely find such fantastic food, choices and service in a beautiful surrounding.. to get all three is rare.... Thank you for making our stay so delightful.
