"The best thing about this hotel is the lakeside club which is across the road and offers a relaxed swimming and loungers. Our room was dark and was tired. The carpet was fraying and there were no facilities other than water. It was quite noisy being close to the road and did not match the images on the website. The building and courtyards are unique and interesting historically and the breakfast was very good. A mixed review for a mixed experience."

"Cleanness of the place leaves some to desire, and charging 19 euros for a small pet is excessive to say the least. Also, the prices in Marche restaurant being part of the hotel are becoming prohibitive. I used to visit this place at least twice a year over last few years and Marche diner raised their prices 100% if not more. They charge 1 euro for SINGLE slice of bacon, or small pack of butter. 2 scrambled eggs cost 6.99!!! very aggressive pricing... "
