"I am SO GLAD I found this motel in Point Pleasant Beach. When I think of "motel" I think "ghetto", but Atlantic Motel is FAR from that. I stayed for 6 nights with my mom who has stage 4 cancer (and who lives 30 minutes SW of the motel) to be closer to the shore. We both loved the hotel grounds and the staff! Everything was clean and in good/great condition. Before arriving, I asked for a renovated room and I was VERY SURPRISED how different the room was compared to what is posted on hotels.com! (Please see my photos; very much improved.) The walls in the bathroom were painted in a slightly blue hue; the sleeping/eating area in a cream/yellow color; the ceiling in white. The shower curtain was new and had a super cute design; I hope to find one for my home 😆! These colors brought joy to my mom and me. Housekeeping was terrific and on-point everyday. I saw maintenance staining the wood of the hotel's exterior, which is another indicator of the care Atlantic Motel has for the upkeep of their property. The only issue we had was a few ants on the table by the window, which was fixed after we alerted the staff. Lastly, I want to give a shout out to Amanda for being so caring and an awesome person to talk to. 💛 I enjoyed her Jersey sense of humor and her somewhat sassy attitude. 😊 Thank you from the bottom of my heart. "
