"Excellent staff very friendly and the food was very good indeed. Cosy and intimate bar which welcomed our dog and we enjoyed our meals. We stayed in the cottage opposite so very easy. Room was lovely and clean bathroom good size a more comfortable bed would be beneficial for future but fully recommend. "

"Great property. Extra night for same price was a real bonus. Hot tub a good size. Our 3 year olds loved the layout and called it the Topsy Turvey house. Nice walk along canal to Brighouse with good selection of pubs. Only complaint is bedroom 4 is not a "

"Pros: Hot tub was amazing. Hot water was always ready. The king size bed was really comfortable. Big tv with hdmi ports Sofa was really comfortable Sweetcorn provided to feed the ducks Cons: Kitchen utensils was not stocked. Twin bedroom - matress slightly uncomfortable. No instructions provided to use the oven. Overall: This cottage was one of the best i booked. Tom was a fantastic host. I would book this again."

"We had a really nice stay, the house is spacious, plenty of sheets etc and they provided milk which was a nice touch.We had a real issue with flies on the evening - I understand the proximity to the water but given how stuffy the living room was we needed the door open - could they consider a screen perhaps to allow some ventilation?Otherwise lovely spot with some nice local walks and a nearby town. Thank you for having us."

"Lovely situation with great views. Really nice open plan kitchen/living area. 2 of bedrooms good size but other 2 much too small and this wasn't apparent from the pictures. Hot Tub was a nice luxury and a great place to chill and enjoy the scenery. Not super clean and furniture getting a bit bashed/tired already even though the accommodation is pretty new. These are semi detached and we had a large group next door who were shouting and making a lot of noise into the evening which wasn't ideal."

"Great couple of days away would definitely go back, we went to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday! And she loved it! Everyone that came said they would come again with other family membersI’d probably recommend a longer stay then 2 nights as we could have definitely stayed longer"
