The location was perfect and we had a room with a balcony and beautiful views! The rooms are a little older but clean it was perfect for us! The gentleman at the desk was very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay.

Very convenient location for town, buses and beach. Beds were comfortable . The room was adequate for a couple nights but required maintenance . The shower / toilet door handle fell off which could have trapped someone in the room if on your own and no one on the other side . The shower and toilet was a wet room so floor gets wet . The view from the window was an awful dirty building so kept the curtain drawn . There was also a constant dull noise from outside.

Weekend stay, end of summer. I stayed on the fourth floor and did not hear any loud music during the night, which some other reviewers have found. The room was spotlessly clean, with fresh bedding, and it was naturally light and airy. Hotel staff were helpful, and friendly. Wifi was free, and had good speeds and coverage. I would recommend updating the literature in the Welcome Pack, in the rooms. It claims that a 24hr parking pass is 8 GBP, when it is actually 20 GBP per 24hrs. This might be the source of some of the other negative feedback, alongside the seemingly two hotel-owned websites carrying outdated information on parking charges. One downside was water pressure; I had to perform acrobatics with the shower to raise the pressure enough to get a good water flow. I would stay here again.

Reading other reviews about the bed bugs left me anxious about staying. But it was clean comfortable. I had asked several questions to the hotel before my stay as I had had no details about my room. No responses.... Noisy bar below with music til 12. Only one window opened to the sea view. Shower was a wet room next to toilet. Very loud generator sound in the hotel woke me up. Great location nr sea and St James St.

It wasn’t the most modern of hotels but it was great value in a brilliant location, on the seafront & by the pier. We had a sea view and despite reviews of noise, we were there Saturday & Sunday night and it was quiet. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. The room was clean, warm & comfortable. Would come again thank you.

Enjoyable stay overall. Helpful staff, GREAT location, Lift, Lovley sea view, hair dryer- iron+ board avaliable too. The only down fall was the room as well as the lobby + lift needed a really good clean. The room could be updated a little if you was to be really picky. There is NO car park, you have to find parking along the street which could be a stuggle but we managed to find a spot easily luckily (£20 a day) The bar down below is loud on the weekend at night time but quieter on week days ( we sleep to background noise so we didn’t mind however others may).The hotel entrance is down a side street ( not pictured on the website ). Not sure if the hotel serves food as we ate out everyday as there was so many options.The location is spot on close to everything! Overall we had a great stay and would stay again :)

The room was in a poor condition. Carpets stained, mould in the bathroom. Patio doors wouldn't shut or open properly. Handle broken. Balcony filthy dirty, felt it was unsafe. Told them to update their website, as it said breakfast which they don't do. Not very helpful. Would definitely not stay there again. The bed was comfortable and sheets and towels very clean though.
