"I love the design of this unique space! I had one small issue get a faucet on and the owner was easy to reach and came right out and fixed it. I would definitely book this space again. I booked through Expedia, which created a problem with communications (VRBO told me I had details of my reservation, but when I tried to retrieve them, they weren't there). I had to chat with VRBO staff to get it straightened out. "

"After the initial confusion of which room we had, we found the place to be clean and bigger than expected. Would probably stay there again. The bar just up the street has pretty good food as well. The Happy Hour."

"Driving into the property gives a definite feel of old time motel. But as soon as we walked into the room it was obvious a lot of effort has been put into updating the rooms. Liked the way it was decorated and it was mostly comfortable. My main suggestion is that the room is too small to have the TV at the ceiling. I understand the height but by moving it to the far wall you wouldn’t have to lie down or crane your neck to watch it."

Nice location near downtown. I have to give an extra shout out to whomever cleans these units. Mine was refreshingly clean. AND fast communication with guest contact. Enjoyed! Will be back"

"this is a VRBO property rented via Expedia. Expedia gave me a 6-digit passcode. it did not work. i requested another passcode and received a 6-digit passcode. it did not work. I then contracted the owner and the owner advised gave me a 4-difit passcode. looking back, the email sent to me had a 4-digit passcode. why Expedia gave me a 6-digit passcode, I do not know. The rooms were clean and comfortable. "

"It is so much fun to stay in a neighborhood. People we chatted with, walking to Penny’s Kitchen and down to the locks. A great place to visit Sault Ste Marie. The apartment was more space than my husband and I needed but we so enjoyed being there. Were very interested to see it and we were not disappointed. We are in our 60’s and pretty active. The stairs were not a problem but we understood they were there. So no surprise! Hope to come again. Thank you for having us"
