"A lovely base camp for our eastern / central UP adventures. The smoke from Canada made for some lovely sunsets. We saw crows, hawks, and eagle, and watched a family of otters swim by. We used the back deck to watch the freighters. Easy access to Brimley state park and Iroquois lighthouse for swimming. The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed for meals and family time. We arrived during a heat wave and used the portable AC very effectively but the latter half of the week, it was open windows and enjoying the lake breeze. "

"The staff couldn’t have been nicer. I needed an accessible room for my mom. They went to the hardware store and installed a grab bar for her. They called me in the morning before we came. So very kind! It’s a small hotel but they make it as nice as they can. "

"In this beautiful cabin we found the perfect homebase to explore the Upper Peninsula. The views from any point of this home are breath taking, with every little detail carefully curated for the enjoyment of nature. We had a pleasant and comfortable stay, enjoying the cute little kitchen to cook our meals, the comfortable reclining chair, and the beautiful shower. Outside there are four different seating locations to enjoy the lake, one of them right on the sand beach. This is the perfect accomodation for someone who appreciates comfort while exploring nature. There are multiple, delightful beaches in the vicinity. Some of the locations we visited from this cabin were Tahquamenon Falls, Kitch-iti-kipi, and Pictured Rocks, which are not very long drives from Brimley. Kudos to this hosts for their responsiveness, amenities provided, and overall hospitality. "

"My family and I had everything we needed in this perfect spot with lake access. We were visiting family further down the beach, and were glad to have a quiet, comfortable place nearby to retire to each night. The place was exactly as advertised, and Kristina was a lovely host! "

"This property exceeded my expectations. The room sizes were very large and high ceilings. It truly is a lodge. So many thougtful amenities, right down to makeup towels. There were so many random toys, games and movies, along with the property amenities. The location was ideal. When we had a question, the owners got right back to us. Great communication."
