The best part of the house was the outdoor space and the pool and hot tub which was heated and very clean. "We enjoyed our stay here. Sean greeted us and helped us get settled in. The house is lovely and has all the amenities you need. Just a few minutes stroll into the picturesque town of Painswick with it's typical Cotswolds buildings (don't miss visiting St. Mary's Church and its 99 yew trees!). The house is also a very easy drive to other sights in the area, including the magnificent Gloucester Cathedral and the Roman museum in Cirencester. "We had another lovely stay at the Lower Mill estate. Kids enjoyed the watersports, bike rentals, swimming and tennis and the independence of having it all within easy access. The cottage was a good space for the 2 families - 2 mums, 4 kids with a well stocked kitchen. It was a little dusty as nobody had stayed for awhile, which did also mean a lot of quite large spiders. Probably inevitable as you are so near the water but they were some of the biggest I have ever seen or had to deal with!"

"Lower Mill Estate has a wonderful network of paths and trails around some of the most beautiful lakes in the Cotswolds. Having now stayed here for nearly two months between sellling and buying a new property I know most of the area really well. It is wonderful to see many different species of birds and water fowl and to know about the beaver project - although sadly I never actually saw a beaver. The Ballyhoo also provided much needed coffee on occasions and was always welcoming."

"High quality spacious accommodation in a unique historic location, very pleasant quiet corner in the charming town of Malmsbury. Parking ok once we had figured out the long stay park was close by. Ameneties in cottage good although kitchenware could do with a few more items to facilitate cooking. Comfortable beds and a relaxing living room"

"Bedrooms lovely but tight around beds. but en-suites quite roomy. So easy for different groups to do different things in the huge barn dinning/kitchen/lounge. Our 4 and 6 aged grand sons loved the space and outdoors games. Trampoline, football, table tennis etc. Google the grinding barn for easy location guidance as 3 of our 4 cars struggled with the given directions."
